Probably the only smart move Jerry Jones made in this whole saga. In-division Parsons would have absolutely haunted him for years.

that is the best referee job in the world. They are some of the highest paid. Why? Who the hell knows. They dont do much. Also, coaches dont ever get to question them. Parents dont know the rules. No one in the stands if ever yelling at them. There are not very many calls they need to make. Line calls are actually left up to other students/players who are volunteered as corner judges. There is no controversy. Ridiculously easy, and well paying job.

Yeah, I'd line judge - never had a problem; anything to do with basketball on the other hand was a headache.

yeah. The other pretty easy one is field hockey. No one in the world knows those rules so no one says a word. I dont know what they get paid though. I know volleyball is one of the highest which doenst make sense to me. But its a nice little side gig.

I'm looking for two things only tonight.

Doesn't matter if we come out sluggish and struggle a bit. Just bring home the W and stay healthy.

Eagles keep stringing along this poor guy

If he had something better to do, he wouldn't be coming to visit.

Morning coffee. Ready for the game tonight. Govee lights are set at Kelly Green and White.

The joy and USP of NFL Redzone was the ability to not have to channel hop to find a game to watch amid the many pharmaceutical and pizza commercials. By allowing full ads in it, it becomes nothing special in and of itself, so in reality, you can go and find a YouTube stream or just watch the scores on X and get the same experience. We don't lack for alternatives - where 20 years ago,we did.

The best advice is to just not bother so viewing figures go down, but the spice is a powerful drug

Yep, I see the conversations about never missing a TD and such, but for me, it was no commercials and non-stop football. If there was a commercial during an Eagles game, I'd put RZ on because I knew I could see game action. If there was no early or late game on TV in my area, RZ allowed me to just have football on.

I am conflicted right now. I have a no Dallas rule for my fantasy football team except, I dont mind having their kicker because if he does well it may mean theyve settled for a lot of FGs.

I have Jake Elliott, but Aubrey just got dropped in my league.

I think Im going to stick with Jake...

I do the same, but there are expectations to every rules. That said, unless it's desperate, they don't start against the Eagles.

You have to wonder if Howie was calling to troll Jerry.

This could also mean we were actually in on TJ Watt and Myles Garrett before their extensions

Coulda used a better narrator for this.

It was OK but John Facenda set a standard that is going to be hard to beat.

If the NFL were smart, they'd say commercials will come in the late window when games are at half time, etc. Because RZ suffers with the "nothing gone on" problem for periods of time. But guaranteed, the ads will be placed into the window where the most games are being played to generate the most revenue.

It looks like my "do other things if the Eagles aren't playing" thing from last year is going for another year.

most likely could have just signed sweat to less money then the cards gave him

Howie calls everyone, it's his job. Reporters then blow it up to "serious interest."

It ain't serious until a realistic offer is made and discussed.

Every team likely called for Watt and Garrett

Besides getting the W tonight, I want to see this D put the hurt on Dak and his offense. He’s played very well against us, so this will be a good test for Fangio’s young herd.

I've got my new DeJean jersey ready and I've brought out all my old gear (shirts, hats, toy helmets, etc.) and the man cave is ready to go. 2:20am start over here and my English buddy is joining. He's become a HUGE fan over the last few years. Luckily, neither of us have to work tomorrow.

You can keep that stuff for yourself

Well, I wasn't offering any but thanks.

You're very welcome. Anything for you mate.

I think the overall key for the season is how well the Eagles replaced their B-level players.

Sweat

CJGJ

Milton

Slay

Bechton

If Hunt, Brown, Ojomo, Jackson, and Steen can show they’re little to no drop off, there’s no doubt that the Eagles are the most talented team in the league.

Sounds like you two will have a great time even without the lube!
