The first long TD was a fluke where 2 guys went for the ball and barely missed instead of 1 making the tackle but you can't sit on a lead for a whole half.

If they play half a game in the playoffs they will lose. Its up to them to fix the offense and I have a suggestion if they want it.

I agree. As soon as that long TD happened I thought Tampa would start clawing back. Baker is an annoying QB but he doesn't give up. That TD gave them a huge spark.

They were 2-2 at this point last year and figured something out. Hoping they do something similar especially with Barkley. They need to figure out how to get him going.

We are witnessing why teams don't build around RBs. Barkley has been legitimately bad in all phases of the game this year. Not breaking any tackles, reduced explosion, a no gain machine, dropped passes, and severe miscues in blitz pickup.

To be fair, the OL isn't helping him, at all. But it's not ALL on the OL.

He's banged up too. Sheesh.

That’s probably heat. There was another video of him chugging Gatorade in the tunnel

Glad for the W, but that was about as enjoyable as a root canal

Agree, 1st half was smiling and feeling loose, second half the laughing gas wore off and now I need a tylenol...☹️

Feels like 2023 where early in the season we found ways to survive. However we don’t have the offensive turnovers that team did. the defense is actually good but now the biggest issue is really the offensive woes for halves of games

Was thinking the same thing. The turnovers are the biggest difference betweek now and 2023. I don't think this team would be surviving the turnovers that team had.

I still rather have a TE. Grant is totally worthless in the run game

I'd agree but my counter is the offense is too reliant on TEs. Time to adapt that we don't really have any

Chargers have a loss to some crap team they have no business losing to every single year

Chargers started training camp with 2 of the top 20 OTs in the league. Both are now out.

I kept waiting for them to catch the giants and pull away but Herbert was running for his life most of the day.

This was a real tale of two Hurts game, much like last week but reversed. He may have got his bell rung this week but this is something they need to figure out.

I don't get it because this throw is one of his best

4-0 with wins over KC, Tampa in 100 degree weather and LA? Hard to be that upset.

There are things to fix, but you can already see the defense getting better. The offense, well...

Teams are obviously stopping the run. So get some more quick plays to AJ and Smitty and open up the pass game. It's not rocket surgery. They showed creativity and good execution on their scoring drives, then went away from it.

Thoughts on the defense...

Two TDs on broken coverage by our rookies. Three FGs that only happen because of personal fouls. The Bucs NEVER drove for a TD. They are still a very sound defense.

My only concern going forward is that the pass rush disappears for long stretches.

Should be Latu and EJ Jenkins moving forward.

The defense really stepped up despite Ringo sucking, injuries and the refs calling flags every other play. The two long TD passes were bad, Fangio was pissed, they're going to get that cleaned up.

All you LOSERS ready to give up 10 minutes ago should be ashamed of yourselves.

The only loser is KP who got one first down all half. They made adjustments and he was lost.

I really do think Hurts got concussed on that hit where they picked the flag up. Head smashed on the ground, slow to get up, I was shocked they didn’t send him to the tent.

Just no major injuries and get thru the 10 day bye 1-1 and if can go 2 0 until the week 9 bye then that is an amazing start

Also F the NFL for scheduling the Eagles to play away in Tampa in September when it's hot as balls. Schedule them in Philly in December next time.

This team has been our kryptonite for the past 4 years or so. Should have been a more comfortable win but I'll take it.

Yup, and if they see them in the playoffs itll likely be in Philly and its curtains.

Rookies making mistakes. It happens.

Week 4 and this team looks beat up.

Good...another tough away win against another NFC playoff team playing their "Super Bowl"...this time in the heat. They got the monkey off the back. This has actually been a very rough start to the season. There are more lessons to be learned from today...some about resilience. I will the W today...rest and heal...Denver will be tough too!

How do you not complete one pass in the second half with that group of receivers.

This has 2023 written all over it. The team will implode at some point.

I think the training staff and coaching staff need to have a real heart to heart this week about what players should and should not be playing next week.

Barkley, Dickerson, and Carter are absolute shells of what they were last year. We need them if we are going to compete. AJ belongs on that list too, as he's generating zero separation...I'm just not so sure it's an injury for him.

Mailata, Jurgens...not a whole lot better, but they do seem somehow healthier based on pure observational conjecture.

Lane...well, who knows there?

At some point, a 100% healthy but otherwise inferior backup is actually going to be better. And at another point, making a definitive concession with a backup just to get these guys healthy is better in the long run, even if it costs you.
