4-0 with wins over KC, Tampa in 100 degree weather and LA? Hard to be that upset.

There are things to fix, but you can already see the defense getting better. The offense, well...

And even with the tough start to the schedule (3 playoff teams in 4 games), they have a 2-game lead in the division. I will certainly take that regardless of how the games looked in the process of them winning.

Teams are obviously stopping the run. So get some more quick plays to AJ and Smitty and open up the pass game. It's not rocket surgery. They showed creativity and good execution on their scoring drives, then went away from it.

Rocket surgery sounds really difficult. Is Walle the surgeon?

Eagles win, but it felt like a dry BJ. You want to celebrate, but you mostly want aloe.

lol wo the officials Fed the colts on that Stafford sneak. I don’t think he got that.

We are witnessing why teams don't build around RBs. Barkley has been legitimately bad in all phases of the game this year. Not breaking any tackles, reduced explosion, a no gain machine, dropped passes, and severe miscues in blitz pickup.

To be fair, the OL isn't helping him, at all. But it's not ALL on the OL.

I think you're getting a liiitle ahead of yourself, but your point is heard.

Rookies making mistakes. It happens.

They were both with zero pass rush but the one to Irving looked like a mush rush.

How do you not complete one pass in the second half with that group of receivers.

This has 2023 written all over it. The team will implode at some point.

They are playing with a lesser OL from last season.

I really do think Hurts got concussed on that hit where they picked the flag up. Head smashed on the ground, slow to get up, I was shocked they didn’t send him to the tent.

Was pretty obvious. There needs to be a dedicated Eagles guy for paying attention to if players who are known to not check out if they're rung, get head injuries. This is twice now with Jalen, the Commanders game he did the same thing until he got rung a second time.

Man that was an ugly win. This offense is a disaster

They got 5 guys that can be legitimate pass catchers in AJ, Smitty, Dotson, Metchie and Goedert.

Even if the run game isn't working right now, they should be able to pass at will. With that many options, someone should be open in the pass game.

Isn't "dry BJ" an oxymoron?

Cooper is dominate as hell. Wrap up those tackles and dear god

I get the criticism of Barkley, but the guy is getting destroyed repeatedly as soon as he gets the ball. When we were passing at will he was starting to hit some decent runs.

We should figure out what we're going to do with AJ Brown. Have no desire to get rid of him and I'm not saying we should, but we also can't just keep forcing the ball into double coverage to make him happy.

I missed this

They’re not running any gap scheme and running under center with a FB and/or 2 TEs. Apples to oranges

This team has been our kryptonite for the past 4 years or so. Should have been a more comfortable win but I'll take it.

Everyone forgets we beat the Bucs in 2023. And in the losses, AJ Brown didn't play, and last year neither Brown or Smitty played. Last year was another heat road game in September, the new Fangio defense was sorting things out as well. Siri/Hurts are 2-4 against the Bucs so still a losing record. But there were some significant factors.

I know everyone hates Patullo. But he's a distant second when it comes to ranking the biggest changes on offense between 2024 and 2025.

This is an offense predicated on a historically dominant running game. Blame injuries, blame age, blame fatigue...those are explanations/excuses, but they don't count for anything on the field. This run game went from historically dominant to BAD. Overnight. And the team, offense, scheme, expectations, playcalling...are all built around a dominant running attack. So they are all grasping to adjust. It's not ALL on Patullo. This would have been an issue for last year's staff if the running game sucked this badly too.

Because people have been ignoring issues with the passing game for like a year now. Last year we got around them by running the football more. This year, not so much. I feel like teams are setting up to where to have consistent offense, Hurts is going to need to throw the ball down the field, and...

That's been quite the journey to say the least.

Tale aways are Patullo's overriding desire to be super conservative won out in the second half. Pretty certain Hurts was concussed on that hit where the refs picked up the flag. Quinyon is a certifiable shut down corner. Baun is the best MLB in the league.

Yup, and if they see them in the playoffs itll likely be in Philly and its curtains.

Curtains for them or the Eagles?

We haven't played them in Philly in awhile. The last bunch of games against them have been in Tampa haven't they?

11 Cooper Dejeans and a steady diet of cheesesteaks for 4 of them would be the best defense in the NFL.
