Been a good day so far.

We win and Commanders lose.

Unfortunately, the Bucs/Falcons were not common opponents.

I was happy with Jihaad Campbell today...he was absolutely punishing people and he was not too far away in his coverage of Irving...just a better play by Mayfield. He will learn and get better!

We are witnessing why teams don't build around RBs. Barkley has been legitimately bad in all phases of the game this year. Not breaking any tackles, reduced explosion, a no gain machine, dropped passes, and severe miscues in blitz pickup.

To be fair, the OL isn't helping him, at all. But it's not ALL on the OL.

The OC is not helping anyone.

Look at our early EPA on early downs and explosive pass plays. The run game isn't as bad as you think.

Tale aways are Patullo's overriding desire to be super conservative won out in the second half. Pretty certain Hurts was concussed on that hit where the refs picked up the flag. Quinyon is a certifiable shut down corner. Baun is the best MLB in the league.

I thought that too but the slow mo had his shoulder hit and not his head. I was scared lol

Edit: saw the video. He looks concussed

It absolutely was. Even with hindsight you don’t risk an 8 point lead with 2 minutes left for a chance at more points.

It was 21-3 and we threw the ball backwards and ran 2 dives into the line and left them 1 min (1st half). We played to run clock out. That’s what bothered me.

Doesn’t matter. What does matter is we need to find a way to get elite WR’s involved in our offense.

His head smashed the turf though

At the (basic) quarter mark....they are 4-0, they have played a brutal schedule so far. I mean the last 3 weeks alone, KC (in KC with revenge on the mind), the Rams and the Bucs in the heat. We should definitely be happy but.....

  • Injuries....they are really starting to add up

  • Patullo and the offense - Barkley is being bottled up (and I think it is a mix of play calling and our offensive line), AJ creating ZERO separation and did I mention the play calling?

  • Defense giving up big plays and seem to be allowing teams to run on them with ZERO pressure without blitzing

  • Special Teams - Well I would say all good there

Guess what I'm trying to say, so glad we are 4-0 but....man there are a lot of things to worry about. That being said....we just won our second Super Bowl, we are 4-0 and F the refs!!

It did? I didn't see that. Was that on the feet first slide?

I think the training camp and coaching staff need to have a real heart to heart this week about what players should and should not be playing next week.

Barkley, Dickerson, and Carter are absolute shells of what they were last year. We need them if we are going to compete. AJ belongs on that list too, as he's generating zero separation...I'm just not so sure it's an injury for him.

Mailata, Jurgens...not a whole lot better, but they do seem somehow healthier based on pure observational conjecture.

Lane...well, who knows there?

At some point, a 100% healthy but otherwise inferior backup is actually going to be better. And at another point, making a definitive concession with a backup just to get these guys healthy is better in the long run, even if it costs you.

Yup, id be in favor of sitting Dickerson and replacing him with a lesser talent but one thats not limping around all game

Dickerson has been awful, hes getting zero push in the run game and it doesnt help when jurgen is 5 yards in the backfield every game.

That back surgery he had is a bigger problem than he and the eagles have let on.

Not sure whats up with Mailata, last year PFF had him the number 1 run blocker in the league and this year hes been invisible maybe playing next to a one legged dickerson has hurt him.

I’ve been on his bandwagon, but I’ll say he’s definitely been a jag and a half this year so far.

His head hitting the ground is the concern. Similar to the Bears game in 2022.

Curtains for them or the Eagles?

We haven't played them in Philly in awhile. The last bunch of games against them have been in Tampa haven't they?

For those Buc bums.

Yeah it seems like we always play them in Tampa. I remember beating them like 50 to something once at home in the regular season a long time ago though.

TBF PFF still has Mailata as #1 O-linemen through three weeks. Not sure how, but they do.

Last year we were 2-2 and questioning the HC, QB, and even the DC. So sure there are definitely area to improve but we’re 4-0 and have a lot of good

How do you not complete one pass in the second half with that group of receivers.

This has 2023 written all over it. The team will implode at some point.

Through 4 games, Hurts is averaging 152 yards passing per game with the weapons he has. That's unacceptable even if they are undefeated.

He bonked his head on the ground.

The shoulder hit that looked like a targeting. I thought he looked woozy

Everyone forgets we beat the Bucs in 2023. And in the losses, AJ Brown didn't play, and last year neither Brown or Smitty played. Last year was another heat road game in September, the new Fangio defense was sorting things out as well. Siri/Hurts are 2-4 against the Bucs so still a losing record. But there were some significant factors.

No you're right and I get all that but the narrative whenever we play TB is that they have our number and Bowles always gives Hurts issues.

Eagles win, but it felt like a dry BJ. You want to celebrate, but you mostly want aloe.

Just dawned on me that I meant dry HJ. Oh, well. 😂

The Eagles don't look good on offense right now but still 4-0. It's pretty unbelievable with everything listed that they are still 4-0 and 4-0 against 3 top 5 teams and Dallas. Seems like every year we say that if they can put a complete game together look out. I don't know why it's an ongoing issue but it is.
