I can say this now its a W, but playing in Tampa in 100F heat is a player safety risk. The NFL virtue signals about the Shove but that heat is not healthy to play in, especially with a sideline that bakes the players later in the game. The take the players off for lightning, why not excess heat?

The O performance certainly drifted as the heat told. But 4-0, lots to work on but the team took the best shot from a very good D. We move on

We know Bennett won't be. Jackson is terrible, so it turns out it's a "by default" as much as anything. He's not a great coverage guy and he can't tackle. No wonder Nickerson was on the field at the end. Nickerson isn't good, but at least he can tackle.

The refs were responsible for 13 of the buccs points but still KP sucks and is a liability

Yeah it seems like we always play them in Tampa. I remember beating them like 50 to something once at home in the regular season a long time ago though.

The deep throws to AJ were sailing, otherwise his route tree is a 9yd curl and a quick slant. Buddy ball has become predictable.

Yeah, I didn’t get it. He started to slide. You’re not allowed to hit a quarterback once he starts to slide. How they pick that up was ridiculous. It was also a little crazy to me how they didn’t check him for a concussion. Because when he got up, it looked like he was woozy.

We just beat the Bucs in Tampa after beating the Rams and KC on the road. I get that we don't like when the O has bad drives or the D gives up plays but when did the bar become every drive needs to be perfect?

Hurts missed him high and outside by about a foot on an 8-10 yard 1st down throw but AJ was wearing the CB at the time.

He really is an absolute stud. I wanted Edgerrin Cooper with that draft pick but he has gone above and beyond to prove it was the right decision. Him and Q will be foundation pieces on this defense for a while.

Every week that goes by I think the Jalen Carter contract gets more interesting. I know he’s on track for a mega deal, I know we’ll most likely give it to him, but if it comes at the cost of not being able to retain Q or DeJean I don’t know. Howie seems to always find a way to make it work though.

I know Ojomo gets the sack late on the last drive, but what a play by Carter. In real time, Carter really timed the snap and crashed straight into the OL...no hitting a gap nor did he veer toward the QB. I believe the play call was designed for Carter to push back the OL so Ojomo could loop behind him. Great execution and what an effort by both players...Mayfield looked almost shocked with Ojomo getting a free run on him.
