The passing game has been good. The passing game has been abysmal. But the the running game has been consistently bad with no exception.

I said it. I posted this a few times last year but Huff was misused. He is a hands in the dirt quick get-off guy who should be hunting QBs in obvious passing situations. I know he was grossly overpaid but he has that one talent and it could be used right now. They tried to put a square peg in a round hole.

Tbh they remind me of the 2023 Eagles, but with the opposite problems as find ways to win and survive. The offense doesn’t turn the ball over (opposite of early in 2023). But they’re very clunky and super inconsistent. And that times look like the worst offense in the league (defense was this in 2023). The defense looks good for the most part (offense in 2023 good for a while but had crazy turnovers early). They just need to prevent giving up some of these big plays like at Kansas City, to Adams and Bucky/egbuka

The passing game isn't going to get better unless they start using different route combinations. Every Fing play it's verticals or curls for AJ. crap man, even aside from AJ, you watch the Vikings and Steelers play this morning and KOC dials up basic play action roll outs to throw to the flat and get some easy completions and first downs. Why don't we ever have anything like that in our playbook? Everything is Hurts drops back and has to force a ball into tight coverage. I'm Fing tired of it man.

Barkley is averaging 3.1 per carry, has been ineffective with erratic hands catching passes, and has been a consistent liability in pass pro.

It’s only 4 games and he has earned a LOT of good will. But to be objective, he has been dreadful this year.

THe were 2-2 last year. I’d argue probably should’ve been 3-1 if Barkley catches the ball vs. Atlanta. The bye came at the perfect time last year. Tbh this team feels like they need to get to the bye to get guys healthy and we really just need to find a way to win 3 of next 4.

Wow. Just found out the Eagles are the last unbeaten team in the NFC. Impressive stuff. There are things to be fixed... but they need to get 1% better every day.

2nd Half the Offense did not look that great so there are things to still clean up.

Once the running game & AJ gets going we’ll be fine. But injuries are starting to mount up a bit & that’s concerning

Lane’s doesn’t seem serious, Steen came back, and Carter seemed to be just banged up. That game was a war of attrition with the heat. Just a brutal atmosphere to play in and I think a lot of the guys were feeling it.

Lane missing the 2nd half today is a concern... again. He might need to take the week off this week just to heal a little more and to be ready for the Thursday night matchup. I know its 'just the Giants', but that's a bigger game in the grand scheme of things than the Broncos game. Let him have the week to heal up and give Fred the full week to work as the starter in practice.

Dickerson still isn't right. Can they give him the week off this week as a precautionary measure to again help him heal up a little more going into that Thursday game?

I really think Hurts might have been concussed for most of the second half.

Two undefeated teams left: Bills and Eagles both at 4-0.

Eagles have done it against Tampa Bay (3-0 against other teams), Rams (3-0 against others), Chiefs (2-1), and Cowboys (1-1). So, their opponents have gone 9-2 (probably 9-3 after tonight) against other teams.

BIlls have done it against Dolphins (0-2), Jets (0-2), Saints (0-3), and Ravens (1-2). So, their opponents have gone 1-9 (2-10 after tomorrow night unless Jets and Dolphins tie) against other teams.

Not sure if this means anything, but maybe it does...

I remain baffled why the Eagles traded for Tank Bigsby. He doesn't get any touches as a RB. They really traded a 5th for a kick returner?
