I know you can't take anything for granted in this league and no game is a gimme, but man they really need to consider giving Lane and Dickerson a game off to get right. I think this offense would look completely different if we could actually open a running lane.

I've been saying this. Dickerson rushed back too soon and hasn't been right. Start Pryor at LG, Fred Johnson at RT and if they're doing well just keep them against the Giants the following week. Maybe keep it that way until the bye, after the bye get ready for a run. The defense is playing great despite some issues that will get corrected, and young guys that will get better each week.

With backup O linemen, get more outside runs and quick release passes, get the WRs involved early. This week was nice with some creativity and scoring early. Then don't let up and play conservative, keep it up.

I think the bigger question with the Eagles passing game is less "Do they understand what needs to be fixed?" and more "Are they willing to?" These coaches didn't get to where they are without having above a high school understanding of football. They know how to design plays to get guys open. For whatever reason, they are just unwilling to. Whether they don't think the talent is suited for it. Whether they don't think it fits how they're being defended. Whether they don't think the QB can handle those types of plays. Whatever the reason is, if everyone and their mother is shouting from the mountain tops every week what they need to do, including their own players like AJ Brown... and they come out every week doing the same stuff, then it's either negligence or stubbornness. More likely that than stupidity.

I am sure the coaches are more than willing to change. But we know why it stays the same.

I don't understand what your position is. Do you think the passing concepts are fine? I don't think we can just hang our hats on "We won a Super Bowl last season so everything is fine." In fact, I think the Eagles players would be the first to tell you it isn't good enough. They know the passing offense isn't acceptable. The difference last season was the defense was lockdown and Barkley was unstoppable. So they could just rely on the running game to get them points because Barkley was ripping defenses apart. They haven't had that this season, so they need to rely on the passing game more, and eventually it's going to cost them if they don't fix it and make some changes. It hasn't cost them yet, but it will.

No. The passing scheme is universally seen as very simple. Everyone is shocked when we see the occasional wrinkle. But four different OCs have been through here and it hasn't changed.

Why? IMO, it is because, as I have been suggesting, Hurts is the limiting factor. Under-center, play-action would be lethal with our skill position players. A bunch of heavy outside zone action with bootlegs would flourish. But Hurts obviously doesn't like to turn his back to the defense.

I've accepted it as the reality we'll have to deal with. Join me and you will no longer be shortening your life expectancy when they run four curls.

Any other vets on the street with Ogbo going to IR?

If it ever came out he had a concussion they would be in trouble. But if they don't ever test for him, it's not going to come out unless Hurts admits it which we would never do.

I'm surprised they didn't take him out after the slide

I'm not wired to accept something that is objectively flawed because "That's just how it is." For those who are, more power to you. But I see a glaring flaw on this roster, I want them to repeat, and I know nothing is guaranteed in this league so I think teams should always be looking to fix their flaws. They need to trust their QB can handle more on his plate, and some of the concepts I've talked about are really not that elaborate at all. Many are basic gimme plays they don't even bother with. So I think some of it is them not trusting Hurts and some of it is just stubbornness on their part. Ego is more the cause of failure in sports than stupidity. And if they can't trust Hurts to do these things, then they shouldn't have paid him 50m per season.

I will never accept that this has to be the passing offense. And the players aren't going to accept it either, because if this continues for an entire season, they will eventually start losing games. Them winning is what is keeping this all together. Start losing games where the offense can't even get the ball to midfield an entire half, and eventually we are going to get a lot of unhappy players who start barking.

What was Jalen doing here? As clean of a pocket as you can ask for and this is the throw? For those saying he got a concussion, this is one of the glaring misses that would justify that idea.

I was thinking about this yesterday, Dean can come back this week. I don’t know if he plays, but he’s eligible to come back. If he plays a little bit and looks solid, you have baun, Campbell and Dean. Dean is very likely to leave this off-season because I don’t think they pay Baun and Dean. So at the trade deadline if he is healthy and playing OK, maybe there’s a team out there that needs a linebacker that has something you need like a pass rusher or maybe a second corner if ringo isn’t it

If you don't accept it you are called a troll. Are you going to join me in being a so called troll?

There is no doubt he was concussed.

I don’t know if he does or doesn’t but I’m still shocked he wasnt even checked when he got up slowly and looked somewhat woozy.

Is Cam wearing a birthday cake on his head?

I thought there were 2 plays he looked woozy and neither of them appeared to come with any concern.

I definitely thought on the play where he got hit on the slide (flag was picked up) that he was dinged up -- wasn't sure if it was concussion or another injury. I was surprised they didn't check him.

Countless times? Name me 5 guys who did that at this age after the season he just had?

Alshon Jeffery, Deebo Samuel, Roy Williams, Miles Austin, Torrey Smith, Allen Robinson, OBJ, Victor Cruz

They were wondering if he was hit in the head on the slide but he was hit in the shoulder and they seemed to shrug it off ignoring his head slamming into the ground and just the fact he was hit was sliding

Cam used to get that type of treatment from refs

You get one of these when you join. Fits all sizes!

Did we go empty at all in the 2nd half? Always feels like Jalen plays best when we throw out of empty.

Yea, it's just odd. You can see in the video of the tweet I posted when the flag comes out. He's nowhere near a Rams player so I have no idea how they are calling it unnecessary roughness.

And DeJean's was definitely called unsportsmanlike conduct on the field yesterday

We could trade for Derek Barnnett.

Zach teasing a trade.

They looked happy for him here

I'll defend AJ Brown in that I believe his social media and locker room comments are a far bigger deal to the fans and media than they are his teammates and coaches. AJ has said stuff before, but by all accounts, the Eagles have never had any issues with his comments. It's not like he's TO and saying crazy stuff. The guy is voted team captain every year by his peers in that locker room, everyone talks glowingly of him.

It's just that the fans have been conditioned for years to believe that a player expression frustration is "ToXiC fOr tHe LoCkEr RoOm!11!!!" However will they handle it????

That post he made yesterday is such a nothing burger. And my nothing burger I don't mean he didn't mean anything by it. He clearly did. I mean it isn't something that will bother his teammates or coaches. They've openly accepted and embraced him expressing his frustrations. This is one of the reasons why their chemistry is so good, they allow everyone's voices to be heard. This isn't some mid 2000's uptight locker room of days past where someone farting in the wrong direction will start a firestorm.

That's the technical term for the penalty. They usually say "unsportsmanlike conduct - taunting"
