I just don’t get how the offense can be so Jekyll and Hyde in these games. They are so inconsistent and when they are bad, they are horribly bad. I agree that the play designs and playcalling are problematic. They look predictable, which was a term used in parts of last season as well. AJ Brown needs to be involved more, as does Smitty. We’re winning right now, but this is not sustainable when you’re playing good teams in the playoffs. The defense can only do so much.

I would love to see a game where the Eagles get down by two TDs or even three. Force Jalen to have to air it out, he can throw the ball with accuracy and velocity, he simply doesn't have to, it would just be nice to see that kind of game from the Eagles, the only way that happens is if they have to throw it. I bet he would go off...seriously I think he would have a great game statistically, and possibly bring them back.

This is really unfair to SB. He has been getting hit in the backfield all year, first contact with a defender in less than a second, or close to it. I think @e-a-g-l-e-s eagles! even put up a stat on it last night, I know someone did. SB may not be as explosive, I am not convinced he isn't, I think he is just not getting the opportunity to make the first man miss as often as he did last year. The issue in my opinion is similar to others here and it has been talked about for four weeks, the OLine is not playing as dominant as they did last year, and that is OK because they are dealing with some nagging injuries, causing some less than consistent play (likely due to talent AND rotating backups) that they are use to. Get healthy and some of that will be negated. It's hard to make the first man miss when you are trying to take the handoff and avoid getting hit at the same time. A healthier OLine makes the passing game better as well for a couple of obvious reasons, but the most important being you stop defenses from loading up on the run on 1st and 2nd down.

Agreed. Right now SB probably thinks he is back in NY with the way he is getting stuffed at or behind the line. He hasn’t even had a real opportunity to "explode”, as the holes from last year are just not there. The line isn’t healthy, as many here have stated.

So, I was torn between wanting a 1-3 cowgirls team or a 2-2 Packers team. I think it worked out better with a tie. The cowgirls being 2.5 games back and neither team showing they have any defense at all. I can't see either team going anywhere with those defenses,.

The Eagles and the Bills stand alone as the undefeated and the Bills have beaten teams with a combined record of 1-13. I think the Bills are good but they've had it about as easy as it gets so far.

The Bills are on a crash course to lose to the Chiefs. Don't care where the game is played. Chiefs defense will outplay theirs. And I think the offenses will be a lot closer by then. Got to project here. Chiefs will start pummeling teams again and Rice rejoining them in a couple weeks. Think they turned the corner. Not even sure if Chargers are winning that division after yesterday. Looking forward to the repeat. And rubber match with the Birds.

I m in favor of sitting Landon for the next 2 weeks -- not going to IR, but put Pryor or Toth in there against Denver and NYG. I am worried that the short week going to NYG will really set him back.

I really hate the idea of willingly pulling two guys from the starting OL... but sitting Landon AND Lane is a discussion the team should be having internally. They shouldn't say it out loud unless they decide to sit one or both, but its worth considering to get them as right as they can for the stretch run in November, December and January. Having these guys playing on one leg all year just seems like begging for it to get worse, not better. But, I'm not a doctor!

When you see how the Eagles stubbornly and foolishly continue to use Calcaterra over and over again as a blocker, it's impossible to suggest that coaching stubbornness doesn't at least have somewhat of a factor in their offensive issues. It's seriously inexcusable. Enough already. And Howie: how hard is it to find another TE that can block? Is Calcaterra's one catch every 3 games worth having him whiff on blocks 10 times per game?

75% of first downs are runs. They are also runs right up the middle, with either 12 personnel with the TE's at wing or Devonta running in motion. It is the most bland, conservative, obvious play calling/design ever. The funny thing is they had two awesome play designs to get Goedert those two TD's. If they can do that they can find creative ways to get the ball in the hands of AJ and Devonta but for some reason they refuse to do so. It's very frustrating.

I feel like Lane has been OK when out there, and I don't worry about a stinger getting worse on that craptastic turf in NJ. I really think Landon can't play on it though, especially on short rest.

Yep. I would have rather had Jack Stoll on the team.

The Colts were close to winning against the Rams. They might have won but for a dropped TD. I think the 49ers are frauds. Herbert has the worst OC in the League. The Steelers aren't a great team. That being said, I think 3-2 at best over the next 5 games.

Those are the tougher games, they also have TEN, HOU, ARZ and the ATL mixed in to pad the Ws.

Also, the NFLPA needs to stop being such a useless organization and have players just refuse to play at Met Life Stadium at this point. I never want to see guys get hurt, and it just sucks for Nabers.

Why not just change the scheme that fits the players you have? They don't really have TEs like that but they have Smith, Brown, and Barkley. Create better plays with them

At some point the players are going to have to goto Nick and the coaching staff and give them the truths that it’s not working.

Didn’t they do that last season ? Or was that the defence under desai ?

I wouldn’t really want to see that. Jalen has been fantastic in leading this team to one SB and winning one. He’s a leader, winner and clutch. He does have his deficiencies though and velocity / accuracy (at times) isn’t his strength IMO. He’s improved, but I wouldn’t want to see that scenario.😅

I said the same thing yesterday. Get him rested the next few weeks. Lane's shoulder might benefit from a few weeks off as well. The other Johnson can fill in.

Yeah, Mara doesn’t seem to care about his players safety. I’m sure he’s doing everything he can for himself though…

Why does it need to keep happening? Why do the players seem to know better lol

Yeah that was me. His yards before contact is ridiculously bad.
