I thought we just played that game against the Rams ........... or ....... I see what you did there .....

That's actually a pretty good example...I guess I forgot in my old age. Hurts finished with 230 yds on 21/32 attempts with no INTs and 3 TDs...what the hell, throw the ball more early in the game, and on early downs...don't wait until you have to throw it.

I actually heard some people complaining about how he played. I thought he played really well. His tackling wasn';t great but it was still an improvement over Jackson and he gave up next to nothing in coverage. Also Quinton is an absolute stud and I can't believe how much the Bus went after him.

Absolute clown show with all three of those guys in the same frame...

Very simply. Dickerson and Johnson should be on snap counts til the bye week. Also, I'd give them both off the Giants game as well. Can go with Fred at RT and Pryor at left guard against a ravaged and injured Giants team. They could essentially have 2 Bye weeks in the next few weeks. Gotta save them for the stretch drive. And hopefully get another couple bye weeks at week 18 and HFA. There's a way to navigate here easily. Eagles essentially just aced the toughest part of their season relatively unscathed and can cruise a lil bit here going forward with strategic time off for different guys.

I don't blame Hurts for the designed QB runs. That's on the HC, OC, and GM. Once they call the play, he's going to be a football player and do what they do. The HC, OC and GM need to help him not let his competitive juices get his body in trouble. I am against QB designed runs in principle. It forces the QB to have to make the decision of where to be aggressive and where to just get down to avoid contact too much. I'm just not a fan. Granted, doing it with Hurts got us to a Super Bowl and was a big factor in winning one as well. But, the downside is it leaves the QB vulnerable and potentially needing to find a replacement much sooner than if that QB wasn't getting as punished. JMO.

Just as many QBs get injured in the pocket. He didn't do a good job of getting down in that game.

Maybe if they didn't run on just about every first down, directly up the middle, and out of the same two formations/looks he could actually get going. Every time it's a first down and I see two TE's in double wing I know it's a run directly up the middle. Pretty sure the defense can figure that out too.

The Bengals/Broncos game might've been good but he'd probably just get injured again behind that line anyway

I honestly think we're going to get Eagles/Chiefs round 3

I agree unless somebody takes the Chiefs out prior to the AFC championship.

His problem with tackling isn't effort it's that he's too much of a linear athlete. He needs to be able to slow down before he gets to the runner.

I think the complaints it’s ringo was his tackling. Coverage wise he was actually very good. Rather him be out there than adoree. Adoree gives poor tackling and poor coverage.

I don't follow fantasy sports at all, but the Football Diehards show on NFL Radio has a thing where they pick the winners of the slate of weekly NFL games based on points from 14 down to 1, where you take the biggest mismatch of the week and make that your 14 point wager, all the way down to a pick 'em game at 1 point. For this weekend I would take:

Bills over Patriots = 14 points

Colts over Raiders = 13 points

Cardinals over Titans = 12 points

Eagles over Broncos = 11 points

Ravens over Texans = 10 points

Lions over Bengals = 9 points

Vikings over Browns = 8 points

Giants over Saints = 7 points

Chiefs over Jaguars = 6 points

Cowboys over Jets = 5 points

Chargers over Commanders = 4 points

Rams over Niners = 3 points

Panthers over Dolphins = 2 points

Bucs over Seahawks = 1 point

Agreed. Toast Jackson can only tackle you from behind. If that...I care about his coverage. They will gang tackle in most cases. Hes gotta take better angles and improve technique. We know he's a good open field tackler which will come into play at times.

Got to imagine there’s some regression at some point but he’s having an insane season so far

Maybe a game where the Eagles get behind and the opposing defense doesn't have munchkins playing CB?

It's never been about winning and team accomplishment for AJ.

What sucks is you know he loved being here too. He wanted to be an Eagle.

Yep. That's wear his stuff hips hold him back. He also needs to get lower. Even on the play where he sort of made the tackle had there not been other guys there to help out the ball carrier might have broken free because he came in so high.
