I’m too far behind to try to catch up. What’s the consensus…. That’s a career for Hill?

I wouldn’t bet on a 32 year old speed guy coming back from that

Meh. Hurts ain't gonna put up numbers in this offense.

Comparing apples and oranges.

Nobody is going to put up numbers in this offense. Play design is abysmal and Patullo might as well just use a dart board to call plays at this point.

I’m curious to see the changes they’re able to implement based of Mailata’s comments of breaking the huddle too late and not getting full play calls out. This was a massive struggle last year in the first half of the season too.

I know nothing of the Broncos. Like NOTHING.

They got their own Iowa CB... and Patrick Surtain is OK too. Sorry, AJ - another week in the box.

This was when he started his slide. Not sure what the defender can do here.

I will agree that they should call it consistently. This was basically the same situation that Reed Blakennship got called for in the endzone. I don't think either should have been penalties and I understand they are different crews but either both should be called or neither.

There is a simple solution to this. Ban players leading with the crown of their head when tackling and ensure they make an effort to wrap arms when tackling to ensure technique is improved. From a "player safety" perspective, you want as little helmet to helmet contact as possible; you can keep improving helmets, but the best cure against injury is to improve how players tackle. Players launching themselves at another should be seen in a worse light than taunting or brushing the face mask of a QB

I don’t have Hill in any of my leagues. But in the WU charity league:

First round pick: Chase Brown - Bust I only drafted because his twin brother gave schmoopie a Jell-O shot

Second round pick: Nabers, done for the year

Fourth round pick: Burrow, likely done for the year

I fully expect a dog fight and wouldn't be shocked if we came out flat and end up coming out of it with our first loss. Their defense is pretty darn good and Nix ain't too shabby either.

Broncos are good on both lines too. O-line is arguably top 3 in the NFL. Their D-line is a bunch of solid guys but lacking the big name star player. They still somewhere around top 10.

They’re an NFL franchise that’s based in Denver Colorado. They have 3 Super Bowl championships, the most recent coming in the 2015 season. Their primary colors are orange and blue and they have a 2nd year QB named Bo Nix. No relation to Bo Jackson.

very consistent draft, sir.

Aikman: Joe Burrow is a top 3 QB in the league

Ummm more like Joe Glass from Mike Tysons Punchout. Hes a good QB but is always hurt

Joe Glass was the worst boxer in the game.

Nik Bonito is a stud and already had 3.5 sacks this year, just not a household name.

Their LBs are the weakness and hopefully Barkley and Dallas can exploit them but not holding my breath

The problems breaking the huddle are so confusing given the lack of originality in the offense.

I watched some of the Broncos game last night.

The only thing I am sure of is that the Bengals have the worst defense in the league.

Nix reminds me of dumber Wentz. He will hold on to the ball and look for the big play instead of an open check down. He will throw late into coverage and had a miserable INT in the end zone last night.

I think if we can contain the running game we will force Nix into an INT or two. He already has 4 INT this year

It's only one play but their OL doesn't look great either

I’d add one of the worst olines too. I believe they were playing with two rookie OTs

This tackle by Jihaad is a thing of beauty

There third down play calling was so bad but what kind of play design has the RB lined up like that trying to provide protection.

You can only re-sign 2 of the 3 to 2nd contracts here. What are you doing?

Jalen Carter, Cooper DeJean, Quinyon Mitchell.

98 and 27

98 and 33

33 and 27

I'm gonna let Howie figure it out. He's one of the best in the business at that stuff.

Why is Joe Burrow always hurt?

Oh.

This. Talk about "aesthetically pleasing" and pace of play, then address all the ticky tack flags that are unnecessary.

Easy to knock out like Burrow. The guy can't stay healthy. He's had almost yearly injuries since 2017.
