Was last night a situation of the Broncos looking good and turning a corner or the Bengals collapsing without burrow? Either way The Broncos haven't won in Philly since 86 and Eagles lead the all time series 9-5. We seem to always play them well. The Last game in Philly was a Blowout in in 2017 during the 1st Super Bowl year.

We really are lucky

They went way longer than that. 1960 to 1978 they didn't even MAKE the playoffs. Took another year before getting a single playoff win. The Marion Campbell years they went right back to terrible again and didn't win a playoff game from 1981 to 1992. And even then, between 1960 and 2000, in those 40 years they made the playoffs only a handful of times, and only had 1 deep playoff run - 1980. And only 4 times did they win a playoff game (1979, 1980, 1992 and 1995). Not a great history of winning. But, since Lurie buying the team, the team has really had a lot of playoff successes. It's worth remembering. We could be the Browns... or Jags... or Jets... or many other horrid organizations.

I'm usually not one to rag on sports radio for starting narratives, but I'm listening today and everyone's ranting about how they're so sick of AJ Brown and I'm like how do you not even see that you're the ones feeding the beast and you alone. AJ Brown has never been a problem within the Eagles organization, no matter how many people try to make him one, and it's the media turning a post into some mega thing. I'm not even saying he isn't frustrated, he obviously is, but that doesn't mean he hates being here or his teammates hate him. That narrative, or the implications of it, is coming purely from the media. None of that has ever come from the Eagles. They speak highly of him every single chance they have, they've voted him team captain.

They're creating a narrative and then sick of that own narrative they've created.

It's true we shouldn't take this time of amazing winning for granted. I grew up when Washington, Cowboys and Giants were ruling. The Eagles didn't win the NFC East for over 13 years from 1989 to 2001. Yes they made the playoffs and had some good teams but that was wild to go an entire Decade plus and not win the Division. The Andy/Donovan era really changed the standards of this organization. This carried over to the Doug Era and today. Now Eagles fans expect Playoffs, Expect NFC Championships and we expect Super Bowls.

The Bengals have one of the worst defenses in the league, a bad O line and were playing with a backup QB. And the Broncos have one of the better defenses in the league.

Nix reminds me of dumber Wentz. He will hold on to the ball and look for the big play instead of an open check down. He will throw late into coverage and had a miserable INT in the end zone last night.

I think if we can contain the running game we will force Nix into an INT or two. He already has 4 INT this year

Stats I saw showed he’s kind of a check down king. I think Javonte Williams of all people was 7th in RB targets last year.

But yeah it’s an adventure when he throws it downfield. Missed some open guys this year too.

Don't listen to sports radio.

The biggest problem with AJ Brown is that he's not playing well

Easy to knock out like Burrow. The guy can't stay healthy. He's had almost yearly injuries since 2017.

You're right. They're not sick of AJ Brown. They're sick of the coverage...that they perpetuate. He posts a Bible verse on twitter and then the media overanalyzes it. The media and fans scrutinize a player's tweet and turn that into a week-long story, with multiple reporters/bloggers talking about it, TV shows making segments about it and then they say they're sick of hearing about AJ Brown.

The entire offense isn't honestly. Not one guy in that offense except maybe Hurts is having a season on par with our hopes/expectations before the season. Not a single player.

The good news is, with that, still 4-0, because if they figure it out they'll be a juggernaut.

Complaining about the rushing performance in the Super Bowl is really missing the forest from the trees. We blew them out.

Yeh, but it doesn't count because of the rushing performance. I hear Goodell is looking into having teams forfeit SB victories if the team doesn't rush for more yards than they pass for in the SB, and he may make the rule retroactive, targeting the Eagles yet again.

This isn’t true. They just turn AJs antics in to a "fun joke” to cover for it.

The guy openly admitted he cares more about his own singular success on the field more than winning.

He’s a weekly issue and he’s the only player that is.

I fully expect a dog fight and wouldn't be shocked if we came out flat and end up coming out of it with our first loss. Their defense is pretty darn good and Nix ain't too shabby either.

Nah denver is over rated

minny might be the letdown if mccarthy is back. Their D can get turnovers and jefferson is a killer

Wonder why. Week 1 already was getting destroyed

Ojomo is playing well but has a different style than Williams. I LOVE how violent Milton Williams plays. We saw that with Jalen Carter last year. He was relentless and violent every snap. Not seeing that yet this year. Hope he finds that again soon.

Carter may feel he's under an official's microscope this year so is being extra careful.

agreed. denver should be another victory.

maybe, just maybe, we get 60mins of good football this week.

This is not true, you're just making stuff up and projecting your own feelings on to the situation.

And he didn't openly admit to caring more about his own success than winning. Everything in your post is untrue.

Absolutely nothing wrong with having high expectations. Becoming spoiled to it and consequently being let down if/when things go south is the hard part of being a fan, but it is also the reason you never feel like your team is out of it, there is always a chance.

The Jets have never had a coach start 0-5, DAL is going to lose this coming Sunday.

Nix > McCarthy imo

I didn’t make anything up. He said it on his IG for everyone to see right after the SB.

I don't think it's that. I think it's his shoulder more than anything.

That is my concern. Patullo is going to try to run the triple deke on offense again.

He sets an extremely high bar for himself as a player and for the team. He's not satisfied with winning a Super Bowl and not satisfied by having a season where he believes he under performs. This is a good thing. It's how you stay great, you are never satisfied. The Eagles are extraordinarily lucky to have an athlete with that mindset inside their building, and it's why the Eagles like him to such a degree.

I don't know how many times the Eagles need to come out and say they love AJ before people actually take them at their word and their actions. Everything they've done as an organization backs this up.

Media starts narratives but this one isn't on the media. This is entirely on AJ for unnecessarily starting it.
