This isn’t true. They just turn AJs antics in to a "fun joke” to cover for it.

The guy openly admitted he cares more about his own singular success on the field more than winning.

He’s a weekly issue and he’s the only player that is.

Brown has talked many times about winning being more important, actually. He's said winning the game is more important that individual stats. He's said he wants the team to win and be a dynasty like the Patriots. Of course any WR wants more catches. The team doesn't have an issue with him, made him a captain.

He sets an extremely high bar for himself as a player and for the team. He's not satisfied with winning a Super Bowl and not satisfied by having a season where he believes he under performs. This is a good thing. It's how you stay great, you are never satisfied. The Eagles are extraordinarily lucky to have an athlete with that mindset inside their building, and it's why the Eagles like him to such a degree.

I don't know how many times the Eagles need to come out and say they love AJ before people actually take them at their word and their actions. Everything they've done as an organization backs this up.

His post didnt say he wasn't satisfied with winning a Super Bowl because he wants to win more. It was saying how he realizes that he only gets satisfaction from him having big production games.

This. Talk about "aesthetically pleasing" and pace of play, then address all the ticky tack flags that are unnecessary.

The officiating has become too subjective over the last 15-20 years and it takes away from the officials being able to focus on real infractions, they are worried about too many other/newer rules and rule modifications. Fans become less accepting of the game results because the officials have too big of an impact of those results.

I didn’t make anything up. He said it on his IG for everyone to see right after the SB.

His post after the SB about him being still hungry was misinterpreted. Everyone wants desperately for him to be a TO and reaches.

Here's more from that post-SB mentality from his offseason trainer, when he got back into the gym a couple weeks after the SB to get to work.

Shortly after that Instagram post, Brown had a conversation with longtime trainer Joey Guarascio that delved deeper into his psyche.

"It almost made him mad because the feeling after the Super Bowl was like, 'That's it? Like there needs to be more. We need to make this thing a dynasty. I need to be a Hall of Famer,'" Guarascio said.

"Every time we talk, it's, 'I want to leave a legacy that's memorable. I want people to talk about the Eagles like they do the New England Patriots in the 2000s.' He always had an idea and a belief that he could do it, and now that he's starting to get the physical evidence behind it, it's just, you know, he's talking it into fruition."

That's the ideal attitude to have. Any competitor holds themselves to an extremely high standard. He is obviously happy they won, he displayed that after the game, in the celebrations, and at the parade. But he is not going to be satisfied if he feels he under performs as a player. The great ones never are. It's how you stay hungry.

@HazletonEagle Next week for the Eagles Thursday night game, you have your two favorite sports also playing at the same time, hockey and baseball. What ever will you do? I assume dvr the Eagles?

Disagree. He always says things that are obviously passive aggressive and then says the media "didn’t get it” or is out to get him. I respect he has struggled with the mental side of things like most people have and is open about it but he’s full of it with this kind of stuff. No one is misinterpreting. He just can’t seem to stop himself from complaining and bringing attention to himself.

Unless we sweep the Dodgers, there is a good chance it will be on at the same time as the Eagles unless we get lucky and they schedule game 4 for an afternoon start.

The Jets have never had a coach start 0-5, DAL is going to lose this coming Sunday.

Don't try your reverse jinxes on the blog. Dallas will win big. Dack is Back or Dak is Bak.

AJ knows exactly what he's doing with his posts. Any talking about it is directly his fault. This is like the 10th time he posted something that got talked about and became a big story. He's not dumb.

WR's are divas who complain when they don't get the ball. this isn't a new notion.

that said, even the worst example you could bring up about aj on this subject doesn't compare to true divas like ocho, owens, brown, keyshawn, etc.

And every season there's a new "point of emphasis" which encourages more flags. The point of emphasis should be did the penalty impact the play.

Exactly. It’s almost an insult to AJs intelligence to say he’s not aware of what he’s doing at this point.

And most times he does this, the next game we come out and get him the ball. That's why he does it -- it works.

This being a normal occurrence makes me more comfortable that there's nothing more behind it.

Imagine if he was happy with the way the season was going on offense?

I'm not saying AJ doesn't care about winning but even in that quote: "I need to be a HOF'er" "I want to leave a legacy that's memorable". Sure he also says he wants to do be a dynasty like the Patriots which entails winning, but everything else leans much more "I" than we or team.

I’d also point out McLane said it was directed to someone or somebody’s in the Eagles organization. Odds best to worst go Patullo, sirianni, hurts and then Howie

He should have those goals as a player. It is better for the team that he does.
