So you personally talk to everybody in the organization?

This is simply a point that was said by Bo Wulf who is certainly connected to people within the organization.

Max Jones has been outplaying Purdy this year

Oh Christ not again. Can we just figure out the offense please?

Baldiani era started last year's run... the clean shaven Mailata era will be this year's catalyst.

He also faced the saints and cardinals. Meanwhile purdy faced 3-1 jags and Seahawks.

Cardinals might be 3-1 if they played Purdy and Jaguars could be 2-2 if they played Mac Jones.

I wonder if Purdy can't really go or if they are taking the chance to let him heal up more to roll with Mac Jones again when he was looking better.

I wonder if the play is more 4-3 with Campbell at WILL, Baun at SAM and Nakobe at MIKE. This takes the biggest weakness off the field (CB2). More and more teams are playing 2 TE sets and this is one way to fight that.

The problem I see with that 4-3-4 alignment is that the seams between zones become much more predictable for the opposing OC and QB to exploit than the 4-2-5.

He could save a lot of angina if he just kept quiet publicly. But, maybe he wants the heat.

For me... I bring the perspective that these guys are very young men playing a very violent and emotional sport. Whatever mindset got AJ to where he is today is a huge part of who he is...good or bad. It is completely unfair for me to judge when my life experiences and perception are no where near his. Being put under the microscope the way these young people are, I am surprised there aren't more outbursts happening around the league. I truly believe his heart is in the right place.

He looks way different. Idk how he did it. I went 3 years from start of the phillies season in 2022 to last March after the eagles won the Super Bowl without shaving

I know for a fact he, Lane and Kelce filmed a Christmas special with puppets of themselves. Having seen them I wouldn’t be shocked if it was solely to help distinguish him from Lane and Kelce’s puppet loll

Impossible. Purdy is elite.

He's not that young. He has done this before, had to deal with the fallout and knows what he's doing. Doing what he does puts him MORE under the microscope, it doesn't help him cope with the microscope.

But, it's fine. He can just do this every year and we can watch it play out again and again. No big deal.

And people wonder why he fell to the 5th round...

The Ravens were going to draft him before Cleveland and Sanders told them not to draft him because he'll never play with Lamar Jackson there.

Currently Lamar is hurt and might miss some games. Shedeur could have been possibly playing right now while LJ is out.

Yea but imagine the crash out if the Ravens went with Cooper Rush over him.

This might turn out to be a false alarm but we really need a TE of the future.

Sure would have been nice to keep Rodgers instead of Goedert...

No

No

The only argument of no is that our OL has been struggling to run block already this year, which is largely a situation of us not having a FB yet again because BVS is the unluckiest player on our team. It's not like Jalen's 150 passing yards per game should be significantly worse without him, there's already not enough yards to go around for the guys we have. Better to have the defense from last year.

@NCiggles needs to use that for his fantasy team, from what I've gathered from earlier today.

Despite missing a game, Goedert is off to the best start of his career. He has been key to the wins in every game he has played this season. We are 4-0. Remove Goedert from thr equation and add in Isiah Rodgers and we are likely not 4-0.

You're probably right. I thought about Cooper Rush playing ahead of him. Thats why I said Shedeur could have been "possibly" playing.

I want to see him play to be honest. He better play well after making that comment about QB play in the NFL and how he can be better than that.

He has talent and throws a good, accurate ball. Anytime I watched him in college play a good team he didn't look so good. It is obvious to anyone with a brain he holds the ball way too long and needs to fix that if he wants a long career in the league.

Tbh he’s not wrong about defense and ST has been really carrying us

Maybe now certain delusional fans that think certain offenses are beyond criticism will accept reality now that an actual Eagles player is saying the same thing....

Luckily most of those people aren't from this board though.

He’s taking the George Costanza approach of doing the opposite and hoping it will all work out for him. Either that, or he’s got to be the dumbest s.o.b. in the NFL.

Gabriel was drafted two rounds ahead of him, and he did nothing in training camp or the exhibition games to make anyone with two good eyes think he’s a better player. The truth is, both of them will likely get a shot at starting games this season, both will likely stink, and the Browns will be drafting a QB in the first round next April.

Stefanski will want Sanders gone at the end of the year. If Stefanski is let go, any worthwhile head coaching candidate will make cutting Sanders a condition of accepting the job.
