We do have the tie breaker on the rams though. It’s more likely SF beats LA again when they get healthy later in the season, and they could be the bigger threat for the #1 seed

Bigger threat for the number one seed, but like the NFC North last year a paper tiger.

Did we protect anyone on the PS this week?

Do they ever announce the protections?

There was something I read recently that explained that it was precisely that. Guys that are on the PS for one day during the week get 1/7th of the normal rate. I think it’s something like $15,000 per week, so a guy can make about two grand for a single day.

Unless I’m wrong of course.

That is my understanding as well, and it wouldn’t surprise me if all four players got paid for the transaction day even though they were only on a portion of that day.

I think the salary cap is only the top 51 players but I could be wrong. I never geeked out totally on it. Just a little

Top 51 during the Offseason, not in the Regular Season.

Saw some Eagles fans complaining about this. They must be too young to remember Jason Babin. Huff could have 20 sacks and I’d say good riddance.

That (hopefully) 4th round pick, if he turns out to be a complete nothing, is still more valuable than Huff.

Stopped trusting AI. Here is, to the best of my knowledge, the longest 1-loss winning streaks in NFL history. (Including playoffs)

I don't think he gets to 8.

What is a one loss winning streak?

I think he will blow past 8 easily. If that pace continues, 3 in 5 games is 9 in 15 games plus 1 more in games 16 and 17

The 72-73 Dolphins were 28/29. They won 17 games in 1972 and did not lose their second game in 1973 until 12/9/73 and were 11-1 at the time.

Kinda cool that the Seahawks and Bucs play each other during their shared 50th seasons.

Also, damn I'm getting old

do you mean pederson that was fired by eagles? And Reich who is making a lot of money sitting at home?

Yes. The ones who went to be head coaches, but were experienced play callers.

Huff is kind of the same guy, 4pt speed rush that doesn't offer much against the run.

He beat Fuaga clean on outside speed rush against NO, good play - perhaps Fuaga is a guard.

Got a sack against ARZ before halftime in a way beyond hail mary situation. Empty calories.

He got schemed a sack last night, as both the RB/OT slid to the outside on a blitzer and let him run inside unabated to Stafford.

The 72/73 Dolphins have to be in there somewhere. They went 17-0 the one year and followed it up with a 12-2 season the next, with the second loss being very late in the year. So I’m thinking they were about 28 or 29-1.

All Mailata does is complain. Not a player on the team that annoys me more than him with his consistent need to hear his voice in the media.

For years we hear about how run blocking is so much easier on offensive lineman compared to pass blocking but now he is whining about howuch they had to run last year.

Conveniently skipped the "I asked Mailata" part huh

With Bosa out they will have to scheme him sacks more often
