The Cowboys had like 4 backup OL today and were able to get things going. Other teams out there have crap OLs and can get a running game going. I don't think this offensive coaching staff has any clue on how to scheme things to success. No creativity, no wrinkles, nothing. They came out with that little RPO play today, that was their "one new play!" Awesome, dude! They added a new play today! Until they figure out how to start scheming up an offense that works, they can run the ball 30 times and it won't matter. The Eagles winning a Super Bowl gave Sirianni more power, and Sirianni having more power is never a good thing. He got his preferred OC, he got the staff he wanted. And so far it's been horrendous. Given the talent, about as poorly coached a unit as I've seen. Reminds me of the Fing Randall days FFS.Dallas was playing the Jets...I think it is the Oline and play designYou know your Oline isn't healthy. Why are you having Hurts drop back and hold the ball for long routes to develop with backup and injured OlineOline is struggling up the middle. Why are you calling Barkley to run up the middle

News flash, after Super Bowls, most teams have already hired the best people, so you often end up with lame duck replacements if you also get your people poached because some desperate team waits really late for them. The only efficient way to avoid this is to hire someone from your own staff, or from college, barring someone who took a year off coaching or who was fired on Black Monday but not hired as a HC.I've said it before, Sirianni's scheme tree (as in the entire coaching branch going back to Reich and co) is a bad fit for Hurts, and there's really not any way around that. Mind you, that's not really his fault, he didn't choose Hurts in the first place. Now they're married though, so they have to figure out some way to make it work out.
3 hours ago3 hr You can't win them all, and this game stood out as the one where it may happen. The world isn't falling apart, but there is a lot to work on; no streak lasts forever. The positives? Hurts progression as a QB, while inconsistent, is clear. Progress for the long term. The passing attack can work. The D still looks legit. The negatives, the run game isn't there, the OL isn't healthy. Too many penalties, regardless of if they are legit or not, too many at the wrong time.I will be more concerned if the same thing happens on Thursday. They need to stomp the Gints

3 hours ago3 hr Frustrating loss, but we were due for one. Too many games where we messed and around, made mistakes and got bailed out.Too many self-inflicted wounds. There just isn’t any reason for so many pre-snap penalties.I didn’t hate being so pass heavy once going up 14-3, although I would have preferred to sprinkle in a few more runs. The defense completely peed their pants in the fourth quarter. Credit to Nix and Sutton for some incredible plays, but they ran the ball effectively. The third and 15 was a killer. There was a second and long where we gave up free yards to Sutton on what looked like a coverage bust. The officiating was frustrating. I think they got the call right when they picked up the grounding flag. The late hit on Baun was technically late, but certainly not egregious. I don’t think it warranted a call. The non-call on the Goedert pass up the sideline would have been a bail out IMO, but it was certainly DPI by rule. All three of them going against us was brutal though.
2 hours ago2 hr Just got back to Baja. Listened to the game online while traveling. Reese was besides himself about how horrible the officiating crew was today. Couldn't stop talking about the obvious intentional grounding flag was picked up. And the non PI call on Goerdert at the end. One or two calls go their way and it is different game. In the end, they can't leave it up to the officials. I have no idea what Patullo is doing but it doesnt sound good. We have balanced offense and should be able to dictate to the defense based on that. Dickerson going down certainly doesnt help. Last year, they found an identity through adversity. A loss, while it sucks, hopefully ignites something in this locker room and coaching staff. Unfortunately, we dont have en early bye this year so they need to get right on the fly

2 hours ago2 hr Another 20+ yard pass play was called back because Steen drifted 5 yards downfield on an RPO.
2 hours ago2 hr I'm at the point where to me it isn't even a debate that this offensive staff is a disaster right now and it's a matter of if/when Lurie is going to step in and force some changes. I'm sure they'll get a few more weeks, but this can't continue or this season is going to go sideways. There is not a single thing they do well on offense. They can't block, they can't run, they can't throw, they struggle to get consistency and work one play off another, they struggle to scheme guys open, they are bad situationally, they can't run a screen to save their lives. This is an extreme level of incompetence and Lurie is paying way too much money to let it look like this all season.
2 hours ago2 hr I don’t think this loss will serve as a rallying cry or wake up call. This is a team with a killer instinct…we can see how angry they were with their performance at 4-0. They knew the offense wasn’t working then. This loss isn’t a revelation now.The QB is a situational opportunistic passer and dynamic football player. That’s a great weapon and complement to the best running attack in the nfl. It’s simply a liability when you have an ineffective running attack. The OL can’t run block and Barkley…it’s time to admit it…is either out of gas or has bald tires after last year. Pick the better analogy based on if you think he’s reversibly tired or cooked. And…we are getting dangerously close to having to admit this isn’t an offense with 2 great WRs anymore. So that doesn’t help.
2 hours ago2 hr Doesn't bother me that much they lost for now. But it will if we don't come out and absolutely stomp the Vagiants on Thursday.

Patullo is getting severely out coached at least half of every game. Like, made to look foolish out coached.
2 hours ago2 hr Patullo is such a psychotic bunch guy that he bunched AJ and DeVonta on a Hail Mary. They went trips and empty on a freaking Hail Mary!
