3 hours ago3 hr McConkey just had a beautiful PR touchdown called back for a roughing call. He hurtled like 3 or 4 guys like it was the Olympics.Luke McCafferty follows that with a 50+ yard grab.Very exciting.

I don't think that was on BrownWeird throwing day for hurts. His deep ball was all over the place, there was a few that looked like he was trying to hit the sun. He normally throws a rainbow, so some air isn’t an issue but there was 3 or 4 that were f it they’re somewhere down there at ridiculous launch angles.AJ did look like he slowed down on that route and wasn’t expecting the ball. There was a few others where the WR was twisting in circles attempting to track it. Wonder if the sun was an issue today too.
3 hours ago3 hr 17 points is not going to win in the NFL. The officiating was criminal but the game shouldn't have been close. Patullo is really good player designer. You can see it in the wrinkles he's using on some plays. He's just not a good play caller. You can tell he's playing checkers against master chess players. Once they figure out his initial game plan, he's got nothing. We need someone who can call a game and is not completely outclassed.I'm going to give Denver a little credit, their defense is pretty good. If not for Surtan, the Eagles win the game. AJ got his wins but he did a good job of limiting him. Surtan also knocked away the hail mary. Devonte comes down with it otherwise. This loss is 100% Patullo being outclassed and out coached. Blaming anyone else is ignoring the fact that 17 points isn't going to get it done. Playoff teams should be able to consistently score 24 or more points. Conference teams tend to score 26 or more and super bowl teams average 28 or more. Losing teams score 17 points.
3 hours ago3 hr Part of me thinks it’s just 1 loss. Why is everyone so worked up about 1 loss after a 4-0 start? And part of me thinks it’s a scary validation of what the fist 4 games should have been if not for some flukey lucky plays. It’s one loss that paints the entire season before it in a different light.Very 2023 ish. Except this defense is light years ahead of 2023. The offense…might be worse.
3 hours ago3 hr Seahawks and Bucs are both in their throwbacks… a ray of sunshine on an otherwise cloudy day.

Any of the first 4 games could have ended with a loss. This offense has no rhythm. There's no running game. The O Line is mediocre at best. And we can't use the excuse that it's early in the season still. 5 games in there should be improvement. I want to see one game where the offense plays well for 4 straight quarters. This inconsistency just puts too much pressure on the defense.
3 hours ago3 hr Can someone with all 22 go back and tell me what was more basic- a usually very vanilla pre-season offense where McKee dominated with backups against other starters on defense? Or the regular season offense with Hurts at QB?I suspect when some of you refresh your memories of Patullo's glory days in the pre-season, maybe youll realize he is not the problem. Since the offense always being a struggle despite having a new OC (but the same QB) every year isnt an obvious enough hint for most of you.

Yet have the same issuesI appreciate that Hurts is saying we didn't execute today but bad play calling put them in a situation in which they were forced to be perfect. If we're up 31-3 entering the fourth quarter and utilizing a good short game to burn the clock, that game is done.I hate to criticize the defense because 17 points isn't going to win games but we really need to work on our run defense. In big letters on both sides of Paytons play call sheet was "RUN IT!!!". It's no secret we are open to the run. We need to find a way to shut that down.

That’s exactly the kind of moment where leadership counts. You’ve got to bridge the gap, because silence there says too much.I hate to say it, but I'm starting to think about hopping on the trade him bandwagon. Ship him off for a young corner or a DE.

The deep ball inaccuracy is concerning, as is holding the ball 4eva… if he can’t find anybody, get into rQB mode.

Hurts held the ball way too long today, many times. Brown got in to his route, put a move on the safety, got wide open, and the ball still wasnt thrown. Just like a QB, the WRs have an internal clock that tells them that a ball should be out by now or else they need to break off their route and stat a scramble drill.I agree with you. One of them needed to approach the other after that play. You need communication in that moment. Even something simple like Hurts saying, "My bad, I got you next time,” or AJ saying, "Trust me next time and don’t hesitate.” Just something to show they’re still connected.
3 hours ago3 hr With how difficult the schedule is, the Eagles absolutely must win the next three. Giants, Vikings, Giants. Then it gets tough. The schedule really is crazy. If the Eagles make it back to the SB, both the NFCCG and the SB will probably be rematches

Im not sure why they went missing to begin with. Almost like McKee led Patullo to believe he could run a serious version of offense in the NFL but then Hurts opened Patullo's eyes to the fact that he absolutely can not.

Carter and Davis were invisible all game long. Two weeks in a row they haven't really shown up.

I said it earlier in the week but it feels like there is always going to be some weird tension between them. It’s concerning to think about all the issues with them despite being 19-1 or whatever it was. Imagine how bad it will get if they are losing games every week.

The team needs to be a lot better, and there has to be a reaction on Thursday. We will know more about this team after TNF and if they have the dawg in them. Can they react to being dragged a little in their home ground? The sort of game that makes a Championship team. Is there a chip on their shoulder?
