I would put Kellen Moore in the S-tier. Most points in playoff history and managed to unscramble what has been an untenable offense without him. He made this offensive come alive. It was clunky before him and has returned to that state after him.

I actually think plenty of people would be able to work with this offense on paper, but since things are designed around Jalen, we're being hamstrung. Unlike the defense, where if you don't do what Fangio wants, you're just screwed. Coaches coach and players play, when the player is coaching, it doesn't work so well barring true Hall of Famers (Peyton Manning comes to mind).

Need a career OC that has no plans of HC. Stop the revolving door

This is the curse of a CEO head coach. You don't have a locked in coordinator. I appreciate what Sirianni does but we'll always have a rotating door as long as he's head coach.

He should get canned and the police should get involved. That's called assault.

I don't like Gannon. He should be fired because his team is an undisciplined mess. That being said, he slapped him on his chest and shoulder pads. To be guilty of assault, I am pretty sure he would have had to cause some physical injury.

One of the more concerning things with KP is the Bucs put the blueprint out on how to attack the Eagles and he has no answers. They started the game blitzing and Hurts was picking them apart. So at halftime, they changed. Show blitz presnap, rush 4 drop everyone else in zone. The offense went completely dead. So what did Broncos do coming out of halftime? Show blitz presnap, rush 4 drop everyone else. And the offense went dead, again. How do you not have an answer to it after seeing it blow up your offense a week before?

Cops often wear a vest and body armor but see what happens if you punch one in the vest.

He should be fired cause they aren’t good. And that organization should be fined for being dumb enough to continuously think Kyler Murray is good enough to be a top tier franchise Qb

Yeah, assault is a bit far. Is it any different than Andy bumping Kelce a week or so ago? Maybe more anger behind it. It's still not a good look for an NFL coach to slap a player in the chest in anger to the point his headset falls off. Team should fine him and move on.

Eagles have the 3rd worst offense in the league. It's shocking. Can't simply be the OC only.

It's not just the OC. There are execution issues as well. There are multiple issues where I think it's the OC. First, they are late getting out of the huddle and to the line. This impacts their protection calls and ability to audible. The passing game is predictable and stagnant. This allows defenses to sit on routes which is one reason they are also last in the league at YAC. They do not utilize motion effectively. The run game is predictable especially in certain formations and personnel. They do not utilize Barkley effectively in the passing game. They keep him into block and mostly use him in check release type routes. They scored a TD on a wheel route yet we didn't see that play again. They are first in the League in coward draw plays. I don't know that this is all on Patullo but he has the title.

What if I go in for a fist bump with the cop and miss hitting him in the mouth?

Besides all that. They are also very undisciplined. Way too many just dumb penalties. Particularly defense we get a lot of just dumb dumb penalties that we can control. Their offensive penalties are also killing their drives. Yesterday is a perfect example. Not saying they are or aren’t but watching them live then re-watching they don’t always seem focused and their attention detail comes and goes.

Another thing to remember about yesterday is the Broncos almost played a perfect game and is what it took for them to win. The Eagles shot themselves in the foot over and over again with ill timed penalties and missed plays and just about pulled it off anyway. Like the Commanders games from last few years where they let a team hang around and kept effing up with self inflicted wounds and penalties.

But the biggest error yesterday was the offense not capitalizing and exposing Singleton like they did with the Barkley touchdown. They do need a Fangio type to run the offense to make sure we attack other teams weaknesses when presented. No doubt. A few badly managed plays a game can cost you.

AND to my surprise, the only perfect team left is the Jets. New Orleans ran into a revitalized gnats team who decided to out tank them. The Titans benefited from Gannon still being a head coach after years of nothing. We all know how the Bills/Eagles stumbled on middling teams with playoff aspirations.

Congrats to the 0-5 Jets as the leader among losers.

You mean like the Ravens and Steelers who routinely do not go through that? It's not a CEO head coach thing, it's a CEO Head Coach + High Level of Success + young hires thing. The middle of the pack CEO head coaches who have notably lower win percentage and hire older do not have an annual revolving door. So the solutions are to win less, or to hire older.

I swear, people always eat up this narrative when they hear it from someone else without actually looking at what happens with the other CEO type head coaches.

Perfect game? They scored 3 points in the first 3 qtrs punting 7 times. They played an outstanding 4th qtr, I'll give them that. The Eagles offense gave this game away. Heck, two first downs and a FG when we had the ball on our 42 after the first Denver TD would likely have won that game. Instead we lose 6 yards on that drive.

Yeah, it's been my complaint since they hired him so no I'm not parroting other people. The two teams you quote have a 2nd year and a 3rd year OC. That's not exactly long term.

I’m probably in the minority, but I don’t think the offense would be that much better if Moore were still here instead of Patullo.

It would probably be a tad better but I think the main issue is the O-Line. Losing Bechton, Dickerson clearly hurt, Lane constantly missing time… we need to get the OL healthy.

Average OL = subpar run game = average at best version of Hurts

Losing a game to a likely playoff team isn't the end of the world. Hell, as bad as they played in the 2nd half, they will had a chance to win the game.

The most disconcerting thing is seeing an obvious lack in play design, in game adjustments and attention to detail on the offense. It all points to coaching and an inexperienced OC. Either they have to fire the guy or bring in experienced OC as a consultant. They definitely need an outside voice to break out of this.

They need something at the OL or, if they really have confidence in the backups, play them to get our starters healthy. While I see a need for more pass rush, getting Smith back into the rotation should help. If they dont have confidencein these backups to play, then they absolutely should find a better option. They need to be able to run the ball effectively.

As soon as the broncos went to playing more zone the offense went to crap. Sheil and seyed been saying this for a couple weeks now. The analytics tell you they are awful against zone. At some point have to actually be able to beat zone otherwise teams are just going to play zone against you
