Turner earn that paycheck

Idiotic decision to bunt.

Or not

Welp, that was about as typical as it gets for this team. Mount a comeback when it's too late and then blow it when you have a chance to tie and win.

holy crap, short armed the crap out of that throw to first.

don't worry, true Phillies fans were prepared. We weren't actually excited.

Rarely does a manager lose a game in baseball but that was some pure ignorance

Bunting was absolutely the worst call you could make. Then to keep the call on once they knew it was coming. What an absolute game ending decision. You have momentum you have the pitcher anxious, you have the crowd and you completely slow the game down for the pitcher by showing bunt multiple times. A swing of the bat for a single ties the game gets that place rocking and probably a pitching change. The BEST thing a bunt can do is advance Casty to 3rd and sacrifice an out. It made ZERO sense.

And the trade for the Texans WR? Give up 3 draft picks for two players who add nothing to your game day roster/production. #scratchingmyhead

Exactly and to not pinch run is dumb as well. Just a complete failure. Should be fired

What's frustrating about both trades is that both players are young players who've produced in the league and still have room to grow and improve. There 100% should be a role for them. This isn't a 1 year rental on a 34 year old edge rusher. Maybe Howie looks at them as replacements for Saquon and AJ in a few years?

Metchie never produced. Not by his fault at all, but he’s much more of an unknown trending toward bust. Both are under contract for one more year so relying on either to replace two potential HoF’ers is a bad idea.

They are replacements for Dotson and Dillon next season.
