I don't think this is a lack of effort. There have been plenty of deep passes where the receiver has had to adjust to a late or shorter throw from Hurts. Jalen did not get the same kind of air under the ball that he normally does when throwing deep completions. It's a mistake by Brown but not frustration or laziness. Before he slows down, he turns his head. Jalen is in his throwing motion. He knows the ball is coming to him and just misjudges it. I think he thought the ball was going to coming shorter than he expected. It looks bad if you don't think about what Brown is likely doing.

The change in offensive coordinators was never going to be seamless, no matter who was brought in. They've gone from Steichen to Johnson to Moore to Patullo in 4 consecutive seasons. Even for professionals there is a learning curve. They may want to study how the Lions have been more prolific after Ben Johnson walked out of the building; so far, their transition to a new playcaller has been executed very well. The have more than 4 plays.

Also helps that they hired someone with a bit more experience.

I actually think the browns are solid but their offense kills them by the late 3 quarter and they breakdown against a team like the lions. Bears, ravens, browns and bengals. Ravens and bengals are pretty horrific.
7 hours ago7 hr McLane says Dickerson likely to miss 1-2 games. It could use a good two weeks off. Might help the Eagles in the long run. I bet if the Eagles beat the Giants then he'll also miss the Vikings game. If the Eagles lose to the Giants he might feel extra pressure to rush back, especially if they lose in part because Toth has an awful game or something.
7 hours ago7 hr We are going to know everything we need to know about this team Thursday night. If they come out and stomp an inferior opponent, it will mean they got the wake up call and we are a very serious SB contender. If we look flat again, then the concern level has to rise dramatically. They were able to get away with the sloppiness for 4 weeks while winning, but now that it caught up to them, let's see what happens. It was the 6th game last year (week 7) when we went to Met Life where we finally looked like a complete team and dominated the Giants. Hopefully we can do it again. And I'm not just saying that since I'll be at the game...

Sucks to lose him for the Giants, as Lawrence is amazing, but he needs to get right. No reason to bring him back for the last game before the bye, IMO.

That missed PI on KC that basically gave the Chiefs a 4th quarter TD in a close game was one of the most blatant missed calls I have ever seen. Kind of reminded me of Goedert getting tackled at the 3 yard line yesterday. These clowns literally just decide if they want to throw flags or not at this point. No surprise the beloved Chiefs continue to get help from the refs. Yet we don't even get flags for us that are blatant and obvious. The Eagles continue to get shafted and disrespected even though we have proven to be the best team in the league. F'n disgrace

The deep throws were there, they just missed on then. The long one to Brown would have been a TD if better executed. The long throw to Smith on 4th down wws there and was completed, but was called back due to an unrelated meaningless procedural penalty. In other words, they win that game and likely going away if those missed opportunities were executed better. But they weren't. They weren't forcing the ball deep it was available and they missed. The real difference in this game versus the others was not the extra deep passes being thrown, it was the fact that the defense didn't generate the turnovers like they had been. If the strip sack by dejean stands, again the Eagles likely win this game and possibly in a laugher. But they didn't and the offense was inconsistent AGAIN. The offense wasn't the difference it was the defense failing to make up for the offensive shortcomings. But people with an agenda will point to a single minor difference on offense and think they have a point. They do not.

Yes we won a Super Bowl, but we could be going for 3 straight with a better coach, no doubt about it
7 hours ago7 hr Landon Dickerson and his wife have a TikTok account called dickerson_diys where they show their home DIY projects. Fans will post on there to rest for injury or focus on football. He probably doesn't know the history, but he better not post about shopping for sconces. 😄

6 hours ago6 hr Brett Toth had 2 negative plays with a BS penalty and a sack given up. Not bad for a guy who has barely ever played. He graded out to a 66 PFF score. Actually higher than Dickerson for the year. Crazy enough, that's an upgrade right now with an injured Dickerson. Let him get right. Feel like the rest of the linemen could get healthier with the next few weeks mini bye and bye week. I think right now this offensive line is better as a pass blocking line. So need to exploit that and play to those strengths. Like to see.More of the short passing game for YAC with Goedert, Barkley, Shipley, AJ. All good with the ball in their hands.More hurry up needed to not let the defenses set up with our predictable plays and get the plays in faster. Got to find a way to disguise and diversify these formations whether from shotgun and or under center.New wrinkle. Move AJ in the slot some and keep moving him around to keep defenses on their toes. Let him find the gaps in the middle of the zones that we will be facing a bunch. He can use his tank like methods and physicality more in the slot. He and Goedert in the middle of the field is nice.Use the Read option, early in the game especially, to make defenses have to think about it for later.Basically, keep applying pressure to the defense and make them defend every inch of the field and keep them honest. We need to play to this current cast's strength. Setting up the run with the pass, but with good balance. Barkley will be gashing them up once they are kept out of the box. Stop playing reactionary football and start dictating with tempo and variety.
