He's not a true CF. Bader is better...

Marsh is a moron. Keep it in front of you, keep him at first base.

One could infer from McDavid signing a two-year deal he will seek to be traded at the end of this season. The Oilers did nothing to address their shabby goaltending which has been their major undoing. The 1978 Boston Bruins were the last team to lose consecutive Stanley Cup Finals; they didn’t make a third, nor will the Oilers the way they’re constructed. McDavid has given only qualified assurances in his interest to return.

McDavid would have been vilified for refusing to sign an extension after they played in the Finals — this way, he’ll be (slightly) less vilified with the team taking a step back this year, and the Oilers will be able to trade him for a haul.

Now, after saying all that — there’s no way in hell McDavid will come to the Flyers the way they’re run. It’s one thing to have a lot of cap dollars to spend; it’s quite another to attract quality UFA talent. The Flyers haven’t signed a worthwhile UFA since …….

was it Jagr???

Jagr was 39 when he signed with the Flyers.

There was a time when QBs called their own plays.

Unless I’m wrong there’s only really 1 example of that being successful though. 1.5 if you count Peyton…but his playoff issues make me not want to count that.

Truly it was probably Pronger.

9 pitch inning, F these bums

Nice call Topper.

Why was Nola pulled in a do or die game??

The guy just has zero feel for the game, time to send him packing

Only positive about each inning that passes is that we’re closer to Topper being gone. He has no clue what he’s doing it’s embarrassing.

He pitched too well that 2nd inning. Got them to go down 1-2-3

They planned to let him go through the line up once. So they pulled him after 2 innings, because it was 8 batters, and they wanted Ranger to start with a fresh inning. It wasn't about feel, it was predetermined... and stupid.

Schwarbomb! There's hope.

Well, this inning is interesting...

This is what they needed. Run it up.

dumb base running by Harper plays out.

when you cant hit you have to take chances, unfortunately.

Pitch clock remains ridiculous.

Of course. Knew it.

🤬🤬 So annoying and I am so annoyed over the fact that I am annoyed.

Harper has to do more

Marsh isn't good enough in CF.

I’m strangely ok with not chancing a collision and keeping 1st and 2nd in that scenario. zero communication i saw on the replay though.

Sure, especially after he screwed up in the first inning being overly aggressive. But, he had a bad read and never had a chance after that.

Overrated

Had Kershaw on the ropes... and they let him get away. facepalm
