Two 1sts, 47M, and trade away Kenny Clark to get Parsons

Kind of surprised another team didn't offer more

I think trading him at this point was their best move. Paying him $47M per year on that team wouldn't do anything besides handicap them. Assuming they got a haul, they can reload their roster over a few years.

2 First Round picks is a fair amount but they are likely to be late first rounders. They may use them to trade up in the draft but it's not like they are going to get sure fire talent in the late first.

Would anyone have been mad if the Eagles offered 2 1sts, Ojomo and then paid Parsons that much?

Usually wait for the season before I pop back in here but the drama is too good. I can't believe they actually traded him for (most likely) two late 1sts 🤣

Dallas is going to be a crappier version of the bengals from last year cause Dak isn’t as good as burrow. And Pickens and lamb aren’t as good as chase and Higgins. And their defense might be worse than the bengals last year

Love the addition of Lampkins. Maybe short and light weight for OL, but he could play. Stoutland has another UDFA player to develop and build up. He could be the gem of this season.

Always fascinated by the players with wrestling background. Many wrestling skills can be translated in line plays. NFL favors the big body and power/strength, techniques are secondary. If Lampkins could shine, that may bring along a different approach in evaluating linemen.

The spin move referenced in this video clip has wrestling move withal over it.

The Cowboys issue is they are locked in with Dak for 2 more years because of that idiotic contract. Are they going to go all in on Dak with the 1st rounders, or try and manoeuvrer for a QB like Arch Manning? Its a mess of their GMs making. They have no plan

And I'm here for it

lol

Eagles owning this division for the rest of the decade just got easier. No complaints. Packers, Vikings & Lions will knock the crap out of each other every year. While Eagles cruise here into weeks 17 & 18. Good with this trade.

Eagles line went up a half a point to -7.5 for next week.

I would be one person who is mad about that trade.

Lane has to be pumped and extends his career lol

Its about who can afford to give up picks AND pay Micah. GB is super young, and their QB is paid.

lol

Same. We don’t need him.

I am so glad this trade happened...was wishing it would happen since the end of the season last year. I expected them the get a player and three 1st rounders but that would have been expecting a lot honestly. I'll wait for all the details to get reported as I am only seeing incomplete information so far.

Hell of a player but it was time for him to go after all of this drama Jerry caused. I do not think he was worth what he was asking/wanted, we'll see how he does elsewhere, I don't want to see him fail, but I felt like DAL was going to cave and get fleeced like they did with Elliott and Prescott and Diggs and....and...at least Jerry cut the cord this time.

Here are his stats in 4 playoff games, 4 tackles and .25 sacks average, just like every Cowboy since the 90s...just don't show up in the big games.

Id be kinda surprised if Epps doesn't get claimed from our PS.

Players who get poaching offers while on the Practice Squad do not have to accept those offers.

Eagles could not afford him. Very expensive salary and trade capital. I would rather Eagles save money to resign their own players, or take a shot on a potential young talent then eliminate their options by locking in Parsons.
