#31 in punt rate (53%, avg = 33%)

#31 in yards/drive (21 yds)

Sorry, but this is a coaching stat, not a QB stat.

To get to an NFL OC you work your way through the ranks. Proven background.

To be a QB in the NFL, you get drafted and for however long, your coach believes in you.

There is always an offense who ranks 32nd in stats. Somene has to. Ill bet if you looked it up, the QB is less deserving of being in the NFL than the OC is. Which would be proof that those things are QB stats.

If not, well then you just have to watch Hurts play and youll see that those are QB stats.

One thing you can blame Patullo for, which Ive said since week 1, and Lane alluded to is that he took away RPOs. So, he contributes to those stats in that way. However, with a real NFL QB, taking away RPOs does not mean you killed the entire offense. You should still be able to have a thriving offense without being so reliant on RPOs. Its a handcuff, that we can ONLY run certain plays or else the QB cant have success. And the TEAM cant have success unless the offense can be bailed out by an elite run game.

I've always been a Howie proponent, defender, etc - good times and bad...but his free agent moves this off-season may be the worst of his career. Not resigning Rodgers and paying guys like Jackson similar money - total fail. Letting Bechton walk away when he was basically begging for us to resign him at a discount - total fail. Trading multiple picks for a below average kick returner - total fail.

Seems like he had a plan - when he realized his plan wasn't going to work out as planned - he started making "forced trades" and none of them have worked out. Now we are stuck with a questionable CB2 and CB depth and an offensive line that has been among the worst in the NFL run blocking. 2 easy moves, not expensive moves (resigning Rodgers and Bechton) would have prevented this.

This was a team loss. Every phase lost. Hurts played poorly too often. The coaching was even worse

The film grinders have talked relentlessly about nothing in this offense seems married, that it’s all fragments thrown in a bucket and picked out one by one. The best offenses have plays dressed up to look the same as bread and butter pass/runs. They use motion with purpose. We don’t. There seeks to be little sequencing. The Giants ran three or four run plays that are more creative than anything we’ve done all year. The passing concepts are incredibly vanilla.

Now, assign the blame correctly.

Thats not a Patullo issue either. Like every other OC, each of whom have all had struggles with this offense- he is handcuffed by the QB.

I mean look at the lions. You would think thier O would regress after their OC left but nope. Hurts needs a run game or the threat of a run game to be successful consistenly and this year he does not have that.

To be fair, one of them (Barkley I believe?) said it wasn't a "meeting," that they were just talking in the locker room like they always do. AJ may be thinking the question was about a special meeting was called where the 3 of them went to a room and had an official meeting or something. Hurts & Barkley also said they talked about general stuff about the whole team, not anything specifically about the 3 of them.

Come on man. He’s smirking and laughing at the end. And beyond that, it’s reaching at straws. Every single player and coach that was made available to media prior to the game was asked about it. AJ ducked the media prior to the game. He knew exactly what the question was about. He’s not confused. This isn’t suggesting he’s TO reincarnate but this stuff is beyond defensible. He’s semi-quietly being disgruntled.

I responded before seeing/hearing the video, then deleted my post. I hadn't heard the tone my bad.

It's pretty obvious they need to bring back what works for this offense and that's the RPO - no reason they should have gotten away from it to begin with...why would they after the season they just had? Makes zero sense.

They actually scored one the previous week too against the Bucs. I’m assuming he meant 4th quarter. The haven’t scored a 4th quarter point since rams game

They say the same things after every game. And every week looks exactly the same. We've seen this movie before. This is the sign of coaching that has no answers. This is what it looks like. Team has the same issues every week. Players get frustrated. Say things like "We just aren't executing" "We are predictable" etc after every game. And then it just continues on and on all season.

Not a surprise - our eyes tell us this.

How bad would these stats be if you take away the Rams game.

I don't think what he said he a negative comment though. It's one that will generate talk, but it's a deflection more than anything. It's not like he took a shot at his teammates. This is just who AJ is and we are going to have to deal with it. He's emotional guy who's a bit of an oddball and he reads books on the sidelines and posts pictures on social media and answers questions oddly. It is what it is, it's part of the AJ Brown experience. You just learn to deal with it. People can continue to talk about it every week if they want, but my stance remains wake me up when he starts trashing his teammates and coaches. Until then it could be far far worse and we've all experienced far far worse as fans over the years.

He has a college major In journalism. We can stop pretending he’s just some slack jawed yokel who doesn’t understand everything you just laid out as it is what it is. He knows what he’s doing with all these quotes, actions and tweets.

Yea, he’s not TO. But that doesn’t mean he’s not being a diva.

Its come back a bit in the last 2 weeks.

Kellen Moore tried to run a nice offense, and that didnt work out. He adjusted.

We will see if/when Patullo comes to the same realization and how he adjusts. The benefit that Moore had and Patullo does not was a healthy OL who dominated on the ground game to turn our season around.

Its not really possible for Patullo to manufacture a ground game with the shape of our OL right now. And, thats really Stoutland's department anyway as the run game coordinator.

Patullo has to get the passing game figured out. And thats a task no OC has been able to do with Hurts at QB. Patullo is in a losing position here.

Yeah i didn’t think they’d deal him at the end of the year as i don’t believe Howie is in the business of trading away a WR if that ilk. But the more this unravels and the more he’s doing it, it feels like they might just trade him and get the value and attempt to fix the WR position in other ways.

This looks great after Hurts and Barkley already confirmed it happened!

I get his frustration with the offense but this dude is becoming a MAJOR distraction and problem. Time for him to go elsewhere. I hope Howie eventually trades him to another Dallas franchise so he can remember what it was like to play for the Titans.

So what do you think he's hinting at? Hurts? Patullo?

In fairness can’t get much worse in some of those categories lol

It won't happen but McKee needs to play a game. If the offense looks the same it's on the OC. If not it's on Hurts. Outside of two guards this is the same offense that won a SB. Defenses can dare Hurts to beat them and he can't without a run game. Something needs to change.

He is a MAJOR problem at this point. It's becoming crystal clear.

I think RPOs are gone because Jalen doesn’t want to take the hits. The new stuff the OC brought this season was all about taking the rQB out of the running game, most likely to increase his longevity.
