Totally agree. Just look at what happened in the SB when KC loaded the box the entire game and dared Hurts to beat them without a run game.

Players say: play calling is predictable, issues getting in the play calls to the players causing delays and inability to read defense pre-snap, complaining that the coaches are not letting the killers do their thing, the offense is not on the same page. All coaching issues.

Analysts: constantly pointing out the issues with play design and play calling backed with evidence and footage.

Kellen Moore tried to run a nice offense, and that didnt work out. He adjusted.

We will see if/when Patullo comes to the same realization and how he adjusts. The benefit that Moore had and Patullo does not was a healthy OL who dominated on the ground game to turn our season around.

Its not really possible for Patullo to manufacture a ground game with the shape of our OL right now. And, thats really Stoutland's department anyway as the run game coordinator.

Patullo has to get the passing game figured out. And thats a task no OC has been able to do with Hurts at QB. Patullo is in a losing position here.

When the offense stuttered last season, Moore came up with very creative run schemes - Barkley took off....

The eagles did have a Run Pass Run option one year that was pretty nice where Hurts wouldnt hand it off, but then wouldnt pass and would run it himself. Those worked very nicely too. But you can just do an RPO between the RB, or the pass. Not involving a QB run.

Hurts WAS running successfully in the first few weeks. Thats been completely shut down the past 2 or 3 weeks by other teams. I dont think he is unwilling. Its just not been successful lately.

Guards make a huge difference in this offense - Dickerson has been hurt all year and Steen isn't Bechton - and their weakness has put even more pressure on Jurgens who hasn't been great this season either. The run game is among the worst in the NFL - teams barely need to focus on it - leading to a domino effect on the passing game,

Stoutland is the run game coordinator. He comes up with the schemes. Moore was a good fit because he ran a lot of the same types of runs that the eagles were already good at. And the OL was able to do those things because they were all healthy. Right now, they are literally all injured. 2 OGs are out, and the other 3 starters are playing hurt.

I think fans are way too anal about things like this when it comes to sports. Person acts a little out of turn and it's "Everyone hit the distraction button!" Every work place deals with an odd ball. If they are good at what they do, you deal with it. It's only an issue if the working environment becomes toxic and I don't believe it to be so. They are grown men they aren't children, I think this is the last of their worries, honestly.

It really is mind blowing how dumb or just flat out ignorant how some people are. I'd have a lot more respect for people if they simply said "I have a fetish for 6'6 250 pound white guys with rocket arms," as opposed to the passive aggressive nonsense we see at convenient times trying to discredit and tear down Hurts. It's one thing to call him out and say he should play better. It's the utter nonsense like saying he is THE problem with the offense and Tanner McKee would be better that I am talking about though.

No, I distinctly remember Moore specifically talking about him implementing specially designed running plays and you can see it in last year's offense. I'm sure Stoutland helped with some of the blocking schemes but the designs were Moore's.

I wanna just add to this cause I think it’s important. I think there was a toll to pay for how the Eagles won their Super Bowl last year. Being as physical as they were, run heavy, 4 years of playoff games (more than half a season of extra games) and high usage of the tush push for 3 years has an accumulation affect. Just because their names are the same on the back of the jersey in 2025, does not mean they didn’t pay a toll for what happened in 2024. Some of these guys’ bodies aren’t holding up the same level as in the past or the damage done as effected their play like needing back surgery.

I've tried to be patient with AJ, but if he's heading down the path of blaming his QB and not speaking to him, tension and all that, he needs a "meeting" - a real one - with Siri. Captain, "leader," get your act together.

Siri needs the same come to Jesus or you're fired/demoted to Patullo but he won't do that.

Fangio should have his own meeting: with Howie. He didn't want Adoree Jackson. He may have wanted to keep some of the guys who left. Every corner besides Q & DeJean sucks ass. Nothing they can do about injuries. But trading Booker for Bennett failed, Jackson failed. Thankfully he signed Za'Darius Smith who worked out. Fangio needs to vet/approve of transactions. Trade for a half decent CB2.

It was a problem during the Brian Johnson era. Theyve also had stretches of it not being a problem at all.

They also had trouble with defenses adjusting to it last year which was early in the season when everyone here hated Kellen Moore as well. Then they became a running team and it saved our season. RPOs continued to be a staple of the passing game. But they were opened up by the elite run game, and we just didnt need to throw very much to win.

Frankly, I'm tired of the coaches talking about the same crap after every game. Either change it or shut the F up. They say they know what they need to do, yet every game they look exactly the same. Seriously, every Fing game is the same thing.

I hope Lurie steps in soon. This can't continue. I don't know what kinda change he could make. The only thing I could see happening is some type of offensive consultant to not become OC, but be a de facto OC essentially. But even that sounds far fetched. They might honestly be Fed. They don't have anyone in house to fix this offense I don't think.
