He really was bad. He got ran over by Scattabo once, got driven back into the endzone on another Scattabo run and was totally faked out of his shoes on the Dart TD run. Probably his worst game as an Eagle.

One of his biggest weaknesses & he hasn’t really improved much over the years. That play design was perfect for an easy TD, but the execution was terrible.

Yes, that is a factor for sure. My problem with the D last night is very much based on the level of competition they were playing. The Giants DL is no joke and you knew the Eagle O would have some struggles especially since they haven't been very good yet this year and the OL is banged up. Given that, I expected the D to be in control of this game and they were anything but that.

Bad games happen, but that tells me something else is going on. They are usually a good tackling team outside of Ringo. I think they are physically beat up.

Yeah. Vic also is pretty good with adjustments and they weren't there last night. Throw in Baun looking bad like we talked about above and yeah....something is wrong

Dart is going to be a good NFL QB. Perhaps not a great one, but he showed traits last night that gave the Eagles fits. The Rams would have drafted him at #26 if the Giants hadn't traded up. The Eagles will be better prepared for him and Skattebo in a few weeks.

I think he's going to be a Jeff Garcia type of QB. He's going to be annoyingly good but never good enough.

I think everyone acknowledges Adoree Jackson is not starting CB material; his college tape wasn't any good, he's bounced around the league and unfortunately Howie and the coaching staff see something in him that isn't there. The Eagles only need a decent CB2 who isn't a liability. Unfortunately, both Jackson and Ringo have been. Jakorian Bennett is the best available option there from what I've seen.

Don't worry. They will have on Kelly Green in 2 weeks and the Giants can curb stomp them at in those.

Just saw a stat saying the Eagles now have the worst yardage margin in the NFL at -410 yards.

If this is the case, the issues are a lot worse than our 4-2 record seems to dictate.

The Eagles aren't getting production at edge, but CB2 is a bigger issue IMO. Denver and the Giants just picked on it and gave everyone the map to beating that team. Howie needs to get Ward or another LEGIT CB or they aren't getting off the field. Smith will be back in a few weeks and they will have to make due.

If this season goes into the **** and they're looking for another year of major coaching changes on offense, then hire back Steichen if he's fired and the Colts collapse. Otherwise, hire Mike McDaniels. And if "Mike McDaniels isn't a fit because Hurts can't run a system like his" then it's either time for the QB to put his big boy pants on and learn to perform in another offense, and if he can't, then it's time to move on from the QB. Hurts is good, but he's not so good to where you need to continue running archaic offenses every year because that's all he can run. There's no reason why the dude shouldn't be able to handle a different style offense. And if he can't, he's not as good as many think he is. I'm tired of wasting the talent on this side of the ball every year. For the talent they have in the passing game they should be shredding teams. Wasting talent is a travesty. Just saw the Phillies waste an epic pitching staff, I don't want the Eagles to waste this talent too. At least they got a SB out of it, but I want even more.

I called it during the Denver game. This team was not going to be ready to tackle Skattebo in just 3 days after that.

And that Denver game came after way to many snaps in the heat in Tampa. That isbthe readon the Denver game went the way it did for the D.

D showed signs of breaking in the 2nd halves of both of those games.

Thats why yesterday's loss doesnt bother me one bit. I knew they were in a bad spot and expected an ugly showing. There was no time to hope to fix any issues and definitely no time to feel rested after their previous 2 games.
