They are going to get one hell of a fine

Yup....I think the real trouble starts with what appears to be Daboll and Skataboo going into the medical tent. That evaluation is supposed to be conducted by a neutral participant. It sure looked like Daboll in particular was trying to influence the situation. That should be a big no no...

And he said he was slow. lololol.

"Too slow to play outside CB”

He’s literally one of the fastest players in the NFL. Oops. 😅

That’s how you know someone’s talking just to hear themselves talk. lol

Yup, I was scratching my head when howie let rogers walk for peanuts.

The thinking from howie had to be that they wanted and thought ringo was ready to start and wanting him too and him being ready are two different things. Sure hes the cheaper younger option but you get what you pay for and no one on their right mind would make the argument that this D wouldnt be better with rogers at CB instead of ringo/adoree

I don't want to absolve the O but the D was playing against a really bad opponent while the O had a solid opponent to deal with. The O was really good in the 1st half and yet we were still down and the D simply got destroyed by a rookie QB/RB and a bunch of total jags and backups.

Sure, but you said that this game was 100% on the defense. It was a bad defensive effort. It was a bad offensive effort. But the Giants defense isn't that good either. They have a good front, but that's about it. Let's remember, they had 1 win coming into the game. They are one of the very worst teams in the league.

Perfect example of how pathetic the D was last night against a very bad O.

It has been a very long time since I saw the Eagles get bullied all over the field. They just didn't show up to match the Giants energy and intensity. Getting punk'd by Skattaboo, Dart and the TE is unacceptable from any team from Philly. I don't mind losses ....we can lose the battle but win the war. I do mind lack of effort and physicality...

Cam Skattebo was definitely the dude who showed up at the college party with a popped collar and after 3 beers someone convinced him to do jump down a flight of stairs with his pants off

He's Bacartys kid, grew up watching his dad fight in parking lots

Here is the really big head scratcher....you get him, have him on the team for a year while he is serving the suspension....you are patient, waiting....you get him back, he plays well, then you let him leave?

Yea, I don't think the investigation is about whether he had a concussion or not. He may have but it wasn't a hard hit and he didn't seem to have any visible signs. But all the circus acts and Daboll being a clown while he was getting tested is the issue.

When you beat the Buccs Chiefs and Rams but lost to the Giants and honestly Denver at home you have a coaching problem

Yup...the increase in litigation around CTE and player safety should be a giant red flag to the league to maintain the highest level of integrity around concussion protocols. Every questionable incidents opens up huge liability issues for the league....what is it going to take? A multimillion-dollar judgement to wake people up? The league absolutely cannot have the perception that the almighty dollar is more important than player safety.

Their 26th in average yards per game. Secondary is just jag's. LB's are jags. They have a good D line like you said but they weren't wreaking havoc on pass protection.

Thats on coaching, no way with how much talent this O has they should be this bad

So if we trade Sirianni and Patullo for Dabol and Kafka everything would be fixed?

and he WANTED to be here. He loved Philly. Oh, on top of that, he's a good player.

Sirianni is a really good coach. He is not an OC. If you trade Patullo for most OCs around the league yeah it would be fixed. Name a team with better starting WRs than the Eagles outside of the Bucs. Give them Barkley and even that banged up OL. Even with the limitations Hurts has they would find a way to make it work. We saw that last year. This guy can't adjust or scheme for crap outside of shuffle passes to the TE inside the 10.

Exactly. The fact that they were worn down a bit is no excuse. They were an embarrassment.

Daboll is always sporting his Baldianni look. 🤔

On the play Ringo didn't down the guy, disappointed to see on the replay Quinyon also just stood there 2 yards away staring. He only started moving once the guy quickly got up to run. Maybe he just assumed Ringo would touch him, who was too busy playing around with his facemask, but he should have more situational awareness there.

Sure. Defense was embarrassing. The offense was just as embarrassing, at least to my eyes. Add to it that ST also looked completely lost out there and we can honestly say that the team was awful in all 3 phases of the game. NO ONE played well. Not one.

Hey! Patrick Johnson got his first career sack!

I would also like to know what the point of putting AJ Dillon at KR was. He's never done it in his entire career, so why now? I get Bigsby sucks but Dillon was worse.

I'll give Mitchell the pass there, because Ringo was closer and it was Ringo's man that caught the ball. They BOTH need to be dealt with to make sure they understand that this is the NFL, not NCAA. So, for me, the major issue was Ringo, because he was closest... and if everyone there tried to get to touch him, they could have gotten hurt jumping on top of each other. At the same time, if Ringo is asleep, they need someone else to take care of it. Bad all around and really was just a microcosm of the game. The whole team seemed lackadaisical and disinterested.

As someone who went to ASU and has followed their football program for a little over 20 years now, he was my favorite player to watch for them since I've been following the team. He's as old-school as it gets and it would have been fun watching him and Barkley together. I hated that he went to the Giants because I had a feeling he was going to be an animal. He's the type of player that you have to watch the game film on. He doesn't necessarily test well or blow you away with anything, but watch how he plays the game and he's rare.

I know some are freaking out about the Tush Push after last night because they did it 4 straight times. How many times have they done that? Far as I know, that was the first.

I don't know if it was discussed last night on here but I feel they did that to give a big F YOU to the NFL in a primetime game.

I highly doubt they would run it 4 times straight again.

There was a false start they showed in slow motion but the commentators said in real time it didn't look like it

Doesn't stop people from constantly bringing it up

Yup..I have been saying since the offseason that having an extra long 24-25 season would impact the Eagles. All but a few teams get the extra month of rest in the offseason. I really believe that the grueling season requires a set level of rest to adequately heal and recover. The evidence to my assertion showed almost immediately as early as OTA's with a prevalence of soft tissue injuries and continued into training camp. I heard reports that the OL only had a handful of snaps together as a complete unit prior to the start of the season due to all the injuries. Soft tissue injuries that normally took a week of so to heal were taking three weeks...all signs that their bodies were still struggling to recover from the previous season. Having the extra short week also plays into the lack of recovery during the offseason. The lack of proper offseason recovery time seems to be affecting their bodies ability to recover between games. I think it definitely was an issue last night.

Last night was a crap show. But it's no the first nor will it be the last we suffer as Eagles fans. We just won the Super bowl so I think I may give them some time to get it fixed.
