I get Bigsby sucks but Dillon was worse. You had to bench him after his KRs. I would’ve rather had Jake in there returning kicks.

We just won the Super bowl so I think I may give them some time to get it fixed. They were actually doing us all a favor. This was week 6 for the Eagles, they are still in first place and just lost a game....meanwhile, the Phillies just blew the NLDS in one of the worst endings you can think of and we haven't had a chance to talk about it yet because of how bad the Eagles were.Thank you Eagles. Thank you for being a distraction from the Phillies.

And knowing they were going to let Slay walk - how do you not spend $5 mil on the guy as a depth/rotational piece alone - especially when you have no idea what you have with Ringo, etc. $5 mil per year is basically 1st round pick rookie money - 1/2 of the cost of starting outside CB money - he was easily worth that in ANY scenario.

At least it has been on Philly sports radio.
4 hours ago4 hr The biggest thing that is disappointing to me with Hurts has been the deep ball this year. It's always been his strength so I don't know what is going on there. There are drives where he's moving the ball fine, making good reads, etc but the second half of games this year outside of the Rams game has been atrocious for the offense as a whole.

He agreed with you that if you slow down every play then you'll likely see a false start majority of the time

3 hours ago3 hr Did some thinking last night and this morning about this current Eagles team. Something I'm not seeing enough discussion about is one Howard Roseman. Is the best GM in the NFL, probably. Did he have one of his worst offseasons since he came back from the broom closet, without a doubt. Let's take a look at some of Howie's decisions and how they are effecting this team in a negative way.I won't even get on him for letting Milton Williams and Josh Sweat walk for the money they got. However, their young internal options that they expected to replace them have not stepped up. That is more on the players themselves but still worth noting. Jalyx Hunt has real potential but he is still a 3rd round project in his second year. Being a 4th pass rusher and having a good couple of games in the playoffs is a lot different than being a full time starter. Nolan Smith is awesome but has trouble staying healthy. Moro Ojomo is a 4th DT, not a starter or 3rd guy. Also Azeez Ojulari was a massive swing and miss. This is one area I won't crucify Howie for, but he certainly didn't do well here.Letting Becton go for what was pretty much a bargain contract for a stud OG has been a mistake. Steen has been fine, but when Dickerson is banged up/injured all year and Lane has also missed some time, it sure would be nice to have a stud at RG as opposed to a guy who is just decent.Trading a 5th and 6th round pick for Tank Bigsby has been a disaster. Yeah it's a 5th and 6th round pick but it's a waste of assets. I said at the time if they were bringing him in just to be a KR it was a puzzling move for that price, and that they had to see him as an upgraded at backup RB as well. He has gone on to be 4th on the depth chart at RB and be a bad kick returner. Total failure of a move that was puzzling at the time. Two words - Kevin Patullo. Now to the biggest mistake of the off-season BY FAR. Trusting in a guy in Ringo who obviously just isn't good, and a washed up Adore Jackson to replace Slay / Rodgers. This was just a complete and total miscalculation and F up. Ringo/Jackson have been a disaster, and Rodgers has been awesome in Minnesota and would have at the very least been a very solid starter here. When you pair the lack of pass rush with this the defense has taken a MAJOR hit.I want to be very clear and not be like the guys who have fetishes for 6'6 250 pound white guys and go way too far and trash Roseman. Howie is till probably the best GM in the NFL but it is also fair to be critical of him or anyone else and the fact of the matter is that Howie had a bad off-season and it is really effecting this team. This is something that isn't being discussed enough. Coaching is a major issue. Injuries have been an issue. Something is also just off with the offense and I have a feeling that things in the locker room are really bad and effecting what's happening on the field. That being said, Howie might just be most to blame for what is going on with this team and whether people want to admit that or not it's quite clear.

3 hours ago3 hr I'm sure Howie and Lurie are aware of all of this data. And I'm sure they are going to be asking Sirianni why this is the same issue every week, if they haven't already.

Now that he fumbled on offense they have an excuse to take away some touches and give those to bigsby. If people see Bigsby on offense they won't be so mad about that trade anymore.
3 hours ago3 hr 15 minutes ago, Diehardfan said:I remember that like it was yesterday. Hurts had to stop himself from saying, "Kevin Patullo is not an offensive coordinator." He then took the high road, walked back his thoughts and said the "politically correct" thing. At that time, Patullo had not been named offensive coordinator yet and someone was questioning him on his thoughts on Patullo possibly being the next offensive coordinator.

It worked with Steichen but this is now two times where he has promoted one of his buddies from within and it has been an abject failure. It's funny how last season when they went outside of the organization and Howie hired someone they won a SB and put up an insane amount of points in the NFCCG and SB. They have a mini bye right now and should fire Patullo today but we all know that isn't going to happen.

The Rams would have drafted him at #26 if the Giants hadn't traded up. The Eagles will be better prepared for him and Skattebo in a few weeks.Im sure they will show us something that we didnt see on film…
