I don’t think all of those are really what he individually struggles with - but sure let’s say he does.

Where are we using his legs? Where are we setting up better run designs and getting him on the move in PA to get open players near the sidelines?

Where are we doing. ANYTHING to confuse the defense. Which passing concepts have you seen this year that makes you go "WOW THAT WAS CREATIVE”? What formations and setups have we seen to do anything to remedy any perceived weaknesses? We’ve seen Jalen be on time and accurate in many games, over and over. Something is way off with this offense and I’m not putting it on Hurts. Even the rams game we watched him dice up being on time and efficient in the 2nd half.

If teams are loading the box go 5 wide and out a guy or two in motion to see if a blitz is coming.

Move the pocket for your QB and disrupt the lanes of stance boxes. We don’t do anything interested, creative, or smart on offense. Defenses know that and are just playing vanilla shell behind blitz looks and we run our offensive players right into the coverage or we call a 5 step drop against a 6 man pressure lol.

No I agree, I was trying to say that in my post, Jalen's people NEED extremely strong chops because of people having to pretty much adjust things to fit his skillset much more than people closer to prototypes. We just got done rushing 60% of the time to win a Super Bowl in 2025, that is not a traditional approach by any means, and the QB is a lot of the reason why, for better or worse.

That doesn't make Patullo any good, but I was commenting on the prior post which talked about a certain level of chops, also mentioning Sirianni. And I think that required amount is pretty high, comparatively speaking.

I agree. They looked tired, both mentally and physically.

I think it’s a multitude of things: short week. Last year extra long season into February hurts. also don’t forget they’ve played an extra 9 playoff games the last 4 years. Only chiefs have more than them (they struggled in 2023 with their offense for much of that year). For The OL I’d add using the tush push as often as we do has to have an effect on the body. Kelce, lane, jurgens and mailata have discussed it. And likely an effect of being as physical and run oriented as they were last year is added on top of that.

All that accumulated and put together, you’re seeing guys dealing with injuries, some guys coming back from offseason surgery and guys whose bodies this year are just not where they were a year ago.

Not to you, but in general, I cannot express how much these are human beings and not robots. Just because they had months off to recover does not mean your body is just gonna be what it was back last year.

I get what you're saying but do you look back at last year's offense and think there was creativity under Kellen Moore? Didn't seem like it.

For the 1st 3 games we averaged 411 offensive yards. Which is about 150 more yards per game as our first 3 games this season.

He's stubborn as hell too though lol

A way better play caller than Patullo though.

Think its safe to say that O-line will be the draft priority after the season. Maybe CB 2 to pair with Q.

Can't ignore DT, Edge and TE.

Doug trying to play some Game of Thrones.

No thanks, pedersons offense his last year had the same problems, it was so predictable defensive players were calling out the play pre snap.

Tbh besides Doug i have no clue who the heck is even out there to hire right now. I’m for it if they identify someone. I’m guessing they’d do the same thing they did to Desai.

I still do it anyway and not that it could get that much worse (i really don’t think it could) but could have the Patricia effect where guys just look completely checked out after doing it.

Hunt was a safety at Cornell 3 years ago and the Eagles thought they saw enough to make him a starting DE in the NFL after 1 season. Such a huge miscalculation on their part. They set him up for failure. He's not ready yet. He was finally growing in to a role last year as a rotating end. You have to hope that by thrusting him in to a starting role, they don't hinder his development and what he could be as a pass rusher.

Ruben Bain from Miami is a stud DE. Would love to see him here.

Hunt has been a huge disappointment after flashing in the super bowl

Had a chance to finally make a play last night and dropped that opportunity.

Uche got a lot of pre season and has been invisible, ojulari was highest paid eagles FA been invisible , Nolan has been hurt hopefully when he comes back hes better,

Perennial practice squad guy Pat Johnson is second with 1 sack which isnt bad for a guy that barely plays and that 1 sack is probably 1 more than anyone expected.

Its tough to find good edge rushers but Howie has been pretty bad at it throughout his tenure as GM.

No edge rush is gonna make the problems at CB2 even worse

I found this amusing...

Doug and Siri are the same coach. Different outward dispositions. But they both are ceo HCs. They have the respect of their players, are guys with offense backgrounds…but they are best when someone else is responsible for the schematic blueprint and calling the shots.

I dont mean to overindulge Reich, Steichen, or Moore…we don’t win 2 SBs with those guys as the HCs. Doug and Siri both served a wonderful purpose.

So if we trade Sirianni and Patullo for Dabol and Kafka everything would be fixed?

Here is the really big head scratcher....you get him, have him on the team for a year while he is serving the suspension....you are patient, waiting....you get him back, he plays well, then you let him leave?

Yup, said the same thing when he first left, I thought whats the point of getting a guy on suspension for a whole year he comes off suspension plays well then you let him walk

What was the point, not to mention he could return kicks as well, just seems non sensical to go to all that trouble then let em walk bad move by howie.

We won the Super Bowl last year.

If we are truly bad this year, then that's a price well worth paying. It's frigging hard to win a ring and we're paying for it now.

I still get disgusted every time I see or hear Kotite’s name.

There's an obvious choice for Offensive Coordinator, AND a way to piss off Goodell and the NFL. Former Eagles Coach. No, not Doug. No, not Frank Reich.

Chuckie! He loves the tush push and would run it on 1st and 10 from the 20. He's a madman. excited

I really don’t think he wants to come out of his job of what he’s doing right now unless it’s for a head coaching job.

The Eagles last two games has reinforced that the idea "Bro, they just win, that's all that matters" is BS and that when our eyes tell us something is wrong, something is wrong. That doesn't mean that wrong thing can't be fixed, but I got a little tired of being preached to these last few weeks that the Eagles were fine because they were 4-0 and 4-1. We all know what we saw when we watched the games.

I would also like to know what the point of putting AJ Dillon at KR was. He's never done it in his entire career, so why now? I get Bigsby sucks but Dillon was worse.

Bigsby barely has done it either. He didn't do that in college. He's a RB that should be utilized as such.
