That all-time embarassment and ultimate physically dominant butt whooping by an inferior beat up New York Giants team, hopefully woke up Howie and Lurie, that if you want this year to matter, ya better hop on the line and start making some calls. May need to spend some money on the bigger names and stop being cheap. Cuz they're is a lotta slop on this team that wouldn't sniff the field on a superbowl contender. They super missed on player evaluations this offseason. And it's super obvious to most. I'd start with upgrades off the street that have to be better than these chumps:

Adoree Jackson

Brett Toth

Tank Bigsby

Sydney Brown

Byron Young

Grant Calcaterra

Matt Pryor

Just added after yesterday:

AJ Dillon

8 scrubs right there who have no business being on a football field, unless it's to tend to the grass.

The secret of last year was the depth of this team. Howie was negligent in chopping too much of it.

Yes! Let's bring them ALL back!

You’re stating the fact that it was just a 2000 yards blocking that made some of these guys regress. This is an accumulation effect of multiple things along with that

— Playing that physical brand of football and being the highest run team has an effect. There’s a reason almost every single offense the year after they have a 2000 yard rusher struggles. It’s not just a running back. The offensive line if you go look at PFF and ESPN their offensive lines were not as good the following year. there was a regression. That was coming. It’s probably from the physical toll it takes to do that.

— The fact that you also have played 9 playoff games in the last four years. That’s more than another half a season added onto these guys. Chiefs only other team with more. Niners have 9 currently dealing with a ton of injures (missed last year playoffs). Buffalo has 9 an even so far this season they’ve had issues even at 4-1. Really should be 3-2 except got a miracle week 1

—The fact that you run the tush push at the highest percentage of anybody in the league takes its toll on the body. Jason Kelce has discussed it. Jordan mailata and lane Johnson have alluded to it and why they do it but don’t love it.

— those three things I mentioned above eventually go to take its toll on the human body. They are not robots.

— jurgens had back surgery. That’s not some minor surgery. There’s people who get back surgery that are never the same. Heck, Jurgens and Dickerson didn’t even make it all the way through last year without getting majorly banged up by the end of the year. Like both were walking wounded by commanders nfc title game.

Just because you were great in 2024 does not mean you’re gonna be great in 2025 because the name on the back of the jersey is the same. The accumulations of stuff that’s happened over a 4 year period and last year you being as run heavy as you’ve ever been is going to take a toll in body. They’re not robots. Just because you have six months off does not mean your body is gonna be the same in 2025 as it was in 2024.

There are other issues with the offensive line and the offense. Nobody saying there’s not. we can all see that there’s other reasons besides that. However, when you have multiple players telling you last year really took a toll on their body, we can either ignore it or they are giving you an insight to how much of a price they paid to win that SB

Superb.

I’m also for using "ask madden” feature from the video game

Do they have players who can catch and return a frickin' Kick Off? Put Will Ship back there, or bring up Covey to return KO's!

They traded a 5th and 6th for a player who cannot even catch a Kick Off, or get on the field for an Offensive play. WTF was that deal done for??!!

Hunt has been a huge disappointment after flashing in the super bowl

Had a chance to finally make a play last night and dropped that opportunity.

Uche got a lot of pre season and has been invisible, ojulari was highest paid eagles FA been invisible , Nolan has been hurt hopefully when he comes back hes better,

Perennial practice squad guy Pat Johnson is second with 1 sack which isnt bad for a guy that barely plays and that 1 sack is probably 1 more than anyone expected.

Its tough to find good edge rushers but Howie has been pretty bad at it throughout his tenure as GM.

No edge rush is gonna make the problems at CB2 even worse

Pass rush in general.

Zack Baun- 2 sacks

Moro Ojomo- 2 sacks

Jordan Davis- 2 sacks

Za'Darius Smith- 1.5 sacks

Patrick Johnson- 1 sack

Andrew Mukuba- .5 sacks

Eagles Defense- 9 sacks in 6 games. Absolutely pathetic.

Forgot about this. Will be a must watch now when it starts to roll out.

You sure he wouldn't just run Spider 2 Y Banana all the time?

That's the new red zone wrinkle. The spider 2 tush-y banana peel push.

Do not hire Doug Pederson for anything. Appreciate what he did but no. Lets not pretend like he was some offensive guru. He had the same problems Nick is having. He was good with the right people but once it relied more on him the worse the offense got every year.

Yesterday I suggested AI. Give Gronk or ChatGPT a try!

I don't really agree with the extra long season or seasons stuff is why the Eagles are suffering. The Chiefs could use that excuse every year. There is a lot of young blood here and new players on the team. They just started the season. Carter had off the 1st week. Ha. Shouldn't be this worn out this fast. They frankly just don't have the depth this year. And team chemistry isn't there yet. There's just alot of hot garbage stepping onto the field right now when injuries happen. Howie chopped too much. And unnecessarily. Should have kept several guys like Booker, Rodgers, Burks, Kennard and Becton at minimum to keep that going. This was easy low hanging fruit to keep.

Also, last year, a bunch of top guys didn't even play close to the full schedule. And had bye weeks at the end as well to rest. They don't even play a pre-season anymore. Got about 20 new players on this team. If you are doing it right, length of last season or the seasons before should not be an issue at all right now. At all!! That's soft talk right there. For me..

Yup. Said this at the end of his tenure it felt like the offense was stale and had issues besides just wentz being bad. That said i don’t even know if he and sirianni would get along. Feels like personalities that might clash

I don’t think all of those are really what he individually struggles with - but sure let’s say he does.

Where are we using his legs? Where are we setting up better run designs and getting him on the move in PA to get open players near the sidelines?

Where are we doing. ANYTHING to confuse the defense. Which passing concepts have you seen this year that makes you go "WOW THAT WAS CREATIVE”? What formations and setups have we seen to do anything to remedy any perceived weaknesses? We’ve seen Jalen be on time and accurate in many games, over and over. Something is way off with this offense and I’m not putting it on Hurts. Even the rams game we watched him dice up being on time and efficient in the 2nd half.

If teams are loading the box go 5 wide and out a guy or two in motion to see if a blitz is coming.

Move the pocket for your QB and disrupt the lanes of stance boxes. We don’t do anything interested, creative, or smart on offense. Defenses know that and are just playing vanilla shell behind blitz looks and we run our offensive players right into the coverage or we call a 5 step drop against a 6 man pressure lol.

Don't you know, it's all Hurts's fault that Patullo gives our all pro-RB ONE carry in a 2nd half where we are winning by two TD's and doesn't realize that constantly running directly up the middle behind Steen and a one legged Dickerson/Toth isn't a great strategy. You can't even make up this level of stupidity and/or ignorance. Dude probably pleasures himself on the regular to 6'5 250 pound white dudes.
