Smoked myself into another dimension last night (not enough to care about the Flyers) but even there, the Eagles and Phillies still sucked.

Yup. Said this at the end of his tenure it felt like the offense was stale and had issues besides just wentz being bad. That said i don’t even know if he and sirianni would get along. Feels like personalities that might clash

Mid would be an improvement

First, Howie should have signed him during offseason, like Jurgens. Or during the season even. Or during the pre- free agent period like Baun. People were too caught up in we have to sign too many guys in the next year or 2 and abandoned a Superbowl repeat season today. Williams at even $26M will probably be worth it if Carter gets $35M or so. I'd still sign him, just so we can repeat this year. New England overpaid once Carolina was involved in negotiations. Probably could have gotten him for $20M or so, if Howie knew when and where to pull the trigger. I'm blaming him on that one.

You are delusional. Moving on

Miles Sanders moved to season ending IR. His time in DAL is likely over, he was on a one year deal.

That sucks. I hate seeing players injured especially season ending.

Something is just wrong. Maybe the SB hangover is just a real thing.

I get that some guys are injured and Steen is the new RG, but you don't go from the most dominant OL in the league to the worst in the league just because you blocked for a 2,000 yard RB the year prior. It's the most confusing thing ever. They don't work as a unit. They seem confused. They trip over each other. It's like every game is their first time playing together, and that goes for the entire offense. Nothing about this makes sense.

Every single dude is hurt. Except Steen

Yup. This was a bad look all around. Also, is this the best they can think of? Can they not run Barkley?

Then can they ban the Nick Sirianni and Kevin Patullo offense too, because no one enjoys watching that. Not even the Eagles players themselves.

Did the Eagles fire Patullo? No?

Need to get Mike McDaniel in here once he is fired as an offensive consultant or whatever and then have him take over as the new OC in the offseason.

It's the only button that works correctly on the madden controller. The "B" button for Barkley up the middle isn't working. Even when you hit the "X" to spin move.

Ew. Apparently, Ryan Clark tries to race bait certain guests on his show and other accusations of being an a-hole.

lol Mike McCarthy!!!

Ouch

Wild idea. What if we brought in Doug Pederson AND Rich Scangarello!

Let’s blame Howie too.

Took excellent value fliers on Becton and Rodgers and didn’t extend them for 2 years $15m total GTD.

Trading for Metchie, Bigsby, and Sam Howell.

Whiffing on Huff and giving CJGJ away for nothing.

All while starting a CB 5 & 6, and not having any realized plan of replacing Slay/Rodgers BG/Sweat.

Making Jergens the #2 paid center in the NFL, and having literally one capable backup on the entire offensive line in Fred Johnson

For the 1st 3 games we averaged 411 offensive yards. Which is about 150 more yards per game as our first 3 games this season.

Last year was also a more run oriented team with Saquon. I remember last year hearing the Eagles didn't really do much as far as the run game. It was mostly the same bunch of plays. Difference is the O-line played much better than they have thus far.

I'm just saying I dont remember last year's offense as anything creative under Moore. I think if they can get Barkley and the O-line going then things will come back to normal. Not sure if that will actually happen but fingers crossed.

Can't ignore DT, Edge and TE.

Mostly I mean their early picks. Not sure they would take a TE in rounds 1 or 2 but maybe. Depends who is available.

They will always prioritize the O and D lines early in the draft. They already have Carter, Davis, Smith, Hunt on the D lines and all are young. O-line they might need to add a high prospect in round 1 because Lane is getting up there and if Dickerson and/or Jurgens cant hold up they will need help and depth there.

They can always add D-line in the draft but to me it seems O-line is a more pressing need. Especially seeing as though they haven't played as well so far this year.

Yeh, it sucks but it does open the door a bit for Blue, however I am not convinced how much Blue can contribute. He's a bit small for my taste unless they plan to use him like DET uses Gibbs. He also had some ball security issues @ Texas. We'll see.

I mean they brought in one ex Cowboys offensive coach and won a SB. Maybe bring in McCarthy to see if history repeats itself. 😆😆

How about Jason Garrett? He can clap for the guys, keep morale up.

And not cutting bait with Ringo. It has been clear to anyone with eyes he is a straight line athlete and not a football player.

As the last 5 years have proven, Jalen is not capable of running the complex offensive scheme that McDaniel's runs.
