This probably hasn’t been said enough, but Jalen Carter is a Fing idiot.

Howie needs to be on the phone trading for a CB2. Is Ringo so bad that they trot out Fing Adoree Jackson who sucks and then Bennett who immediately commits a penalty?!?

No teams are trading a starting caliber CB in September. Have to wait til the trade deadline for that. This should have been better addressed in March or April.

Win this game.

Make Carter run until he pukes.

Get back at it Week 2

Bennett is feisty - and was in good position. His PI wasn’t due to ineptitude. Adoree would’ve been 15 yards away from the ball and allowed 15 more in RAC lol.

I just cannot believe they thought Adoree Jackson could play football.

Said all offseason the Edges concern me. It was a lot to ask for them to just hand the keys over to two guys who while they are both very promising, don't have one complete season of excellence between the two of them. I get the Eagles didn't have a lot of money to spend, but even with that, I think their free agency left a lot to be desired, and really didn't address Edge in the draft either.

Trade the house for Parsons but if not trade the truck for Travon Walker

Carter obviously impacted them by getting tossed but there are a lot of issues outside of him not being there. We all knew CB2 had the potential to be a disaster and that it is.

I'm talking stupid here. As in stupid penalties that got Dallas down the field

How are there two Collinsworths on television?

Defense looks very pedestrian without JC. I know we probably couldn't keep Slay, but we should have kept Rodgers for sure.

Still pissed about Jalen Carter, hes ruined this whole game for me, whether they win or lose im going to be mad, Just such a stupid selfish move on a day that started out with the supee bowl banner and gets derailed after one effin play, not even a defensive play directly after the kickoff.

If I were Lurie id sit Carter down and say I dont care how good you are you ever pull some BS like that again youre out.

I feel like JC spit on me all the fans his team and city and for what

Um going to be fuming for a while on this

Hopefully eagles D can regroup and make some stops get a turnover or two and bring home the win.

Used to? That changed?

You heard it from Collinsworth's own mouth. The umpire has to touch the ball. He didn't spot it, he didn't try. They used to take the ball out of the center's hands, look to the sideline to find the linesmen and then spot the ball. What did you just witness? He ran up, bent down and MAYBE touched the ball as he ran through the formation and ended up in the WRONG SPOT as the ball was snapped compared to where he's supposed to be.

Eagles will likely suspend him a game but what about the NFL for spitting? Is that a due suspension?

They might bench him for a drive but they're not gonna shoot themselves in the foot by suspending their best defensive player. Especially when he's likely gonna be suspended by the league anyway.

False the the doing of the PI has been ridiculous. Nolan’s two 15 yarders have killed us - and that one from Q was completely unnecessary.

They are plays that are non calls most of the time.

I’m more disappointed in others, specifically Davis. Hunt had a nice run in the postseason but I’m not sure he should have been relied on as starter so early in his career.

Oh, I'm disappointed in them all as well. I guess it's a pick your poison type of thing.

I missed it, what happened with Jalen Carter? I wish they would talk about it.

They did, said everything I basically thought. It was embarrassing, disgraceful and selfish. And the NFL could invoke more discipline as well. A fine is obvious but he could get another game per the rules.

He got his bell rung on that one return that he didn't field cleanly.

Basically his selfishness threw away whatever gameplan the defense had. This isn’t like an injury where it’s bad luck. This is an immature kid being a dumbarse. Furthermore we have Jordan Davis on this team supposedly to help keep him in check yet that happens and Davis has looked as miserable tonight as he has in any point in his tenure as an eagle tonight

They mentioned it earlier. They are the youngest defense in the NFL. Immaturity on full display.

Children know better that to spit on a guy. Smith has been in the league long enough to know not to stand over a guy

Can’t let him get away with missing a drive and then give him the highest defensive contract of all time. He fell to us because of character concerns and it finally reared its ugly head tonight.

Thank you, my feeling as well. Just spit on everyone and everything. No clue what the hell is in his head but it is concerning.

Yeah but the new kickoff is preventing concussions…. huh

I honestly don’t remember any rule change. I could have sworn even last year hearing broadcasters talking about the Dallas issue late in games/halves when teams had to hand the ball over.

Not sure why Q isn’t following lamb around. Makes no sense to move him around to cover Pickens
