Always this solution

You know, the more I've thought about this the more I'm thinking this might be a great idea. I mean Tebow looked like a beast in college and we all know how that worked out. Logan Thomas ended up moving to tight end in the NFL but he was a pretty good college QB. There might be something to him being able to elevate the talent. Both of those players looked good under Loeffler but then flamed out without him. Him working with Brady when he got to Michigan may have been the catalyst to the GOAT. If you see early tape on Brady, his mechanics were a mess and nowhere near the master technician you see in the NFL.

I don't remember being too excited about Loeffler when he was hired and I don't think he's some magical fix that just happens to be part of the staff but it can't get any worse than it is now.

I'm all for giving people a chance because you never know how they will respond. It's clear Patullo is not anywhere close. He has a ton of concepts to learn and he'll be susceptible to having his chain pulled by a savvy DC changing things up on him. I would estimate he's, at least, two to three years from being serviceable and that's making the assumption that he can improve at a rapid rate. Being that he has been around the NFL for years and this is all we got coming out of the gate, I'm doubtful he'll ever get good.

It’s a foot injury too. Doesn’t even look like he’s limping that much.

Yup. Part of me wonders if it happened while he was running and his adrenaline carried him through the play and after the play and that’s when he realized it was hurt. But kind of feel like that’s a stretch. Cause I’ve seen guys get hurt mid route and they go down most of the time immediately.

Derrick Henry about to have 40 carries this game

He’s on the sideline warming up. Maybe he just got whacked in the shin really hard or something.

Didn’t go to the helmet with his forearm…

Schefter reporting that Franklin is being hired by the Eagles with Howie Roseman stepping down. As well as Sirianni stepping down and Fangio stepping down. Franklin will be the sole coach. Major swing by Lurie to land the GOAT. Season saved.

Ravens stopped on back to back Tush Pushes. roll

We've been here before. The coaching staff is what it is, no amount of collaboration is going to help at this point.

Unless "collaboration" means Siri gets more demanding of his buddy, takes over play calling, or has Loeffler more involved.

Again, the rule isn’t he’s down but if you hug tackle him it’s ok. By definition when the players is down and you’re not supposed to tackle him. If you wanna say Baun is deserving of a different penalty, which is a blow to the head that is different. However, by definition both of those are late hits. He was down, whistle blew and he tackled him. That is a penalty if calling for the same penalty. If they threw the flag for blow to the head then it’s different. Thats not what was called

The Eagles could go 0-17 and I’d still get endless pleasure of seeing other teams fail at the tush push that’s supposedly unstoppable.

GOAT play. Soon to be run by the GOAT coach.

Broncos struggling against an 0-5 Jets team with negative passing yards is all we need to know about our team lmao.

Week 1 Hurts was the best player on the field. After the lightning delay Dickerson's back locked up and the offense ground to a halt.

  • Hurts could not find the lanes to make individual effort plays like he did in the first half since the line degraded.

Week 2 was an at KC slop fest for everyone involved but he made some plays and did not make mistakes.

Week 3 he was assassinated by Matt Pryor for a fumble and then he was AWESOME in the 2nd half.

Week 4 he was AWESOME in the first half. The entire offense disappeared in the 2nd half.

Week 5 he was AWESOME. AJ quit on a 61 yard perfect TD bomb. He moved the ball for about 500 yards in the air.

  • refs refused to call PI on Goedert

  • Goedert slowed down when Hurts put the ball in an open spot for him

  • AJ quit

  • Steen wandered off downfield

  • refs asked told to Dotson to move to the line and Saquon was already in motion.

Week 6: He moved the ball for 280 yards passing but he also had about 4 TERRIBLE plays. Maybe the worst game of his career. He lost the game

  • Mahomes and Allen also lost their last games they played on terrible plays.

    • less terrible plays but an L is an L

Now lets look at the O-line

  • bottom 8 trash pass game and run game, just awful.

    • even Mailata got abused vs Brian Burns

    • Toth is playing regularly. He should not do that in Spring League

    • Recovering from injuries Jurgens and Dickerson are bottom 5 worst C-G combo in the NFL right now.

    • Steen is bad and any replacement for Dickerson is also bottom 30 out of 100+

Now lets look at the run game

  • 68.5 yards per game not counting Hurts

  • Saquon is running at 3.4 a pop with less than 3 first downs rushing per game.

Now lets look at OC

  • Patullo is worse than a dog with buttons

    • Everything is predictable

    • Everything is bunch

    • Everything plays to the strengths of last year's team.

  • The Eagles make a huge play with Saquon going out wide and running deep. Hurts called that, not Patullo.

  • The win vs the Cowboys was 100% on Hurts improvising on broken plays.

  • Blitz pressure has no outlet other than Hurts improvising or tossing deep balls.

  • THIS FOOL CANT EVEN GET THE PLAYS IN ON TIME

    • HURTS is on OC 7 or 8 counting college? The first 6 or 7 GOT THE PLAYS IN ON TIME!!!

Kick return

  • WHAT THE HELL? HOW CAN 3 DIFFERENT GUYS ALL KEEP MUFFING THE BALL INSIDE THE 5! MAKE IT STOP!!!!!!!!

If your summary is that the QB is struggling then enjoy your time in your imaginary reality.

And Ravens get stuffed from the 1 yard line on THREE tries... Two Tush Pushes and a run by Henry. lol

Eagles can send to the NFL this as proof as to why the Tush Push shouldn't be banned. It would be punitive against them. They are the only team able to do it with the effectiveness we see. Just because they unlocked it, doesn't mean it should be banned. No one else can do it.

Ravens tried to get cute. Should’ve just handed it to Henry 3 times he likely getting in on one of the 3 with how he’s running today.

Ravens try two tush pushes in a row and fail, so lets penalize the Eagles for being so good at it, lol.

If nothing else, the entire coaching staff should use one of their favorite words - collaboration -to help Patullo out. If that means Siri stepping in on certain play calls, Loeffler assisting, or use those late nights to come up with better game plans and learn from game film on adjusting to game time decisions. But something has to change.

Well first, him and Siri should try sleeping. Someone should probably inform them the brain functions terribly on little sleep. That statement was one of the most idiotic things I’ve heard from a coach in a while. That should happen before too many hands go into the cookie jar.

Patriots try a Tush Push. Seems they were also denied.

Nah, Super Bowl hangover.

Broncos won their SB last week.

Giants won their SB this week.

Tush Push is getting 'cute'? I've always heard it was an ugly play... not aesthetically pleasing, etc. Now it's 'cute'?
