This should be the year the media stops obsessing over the Ravens. Now we don’t have to hear all offseason about them being the new SB favorites.

Everyone talks about the Cowboys getting unjustified hype…no one talks about them anymore except to make fun of Jerry. The Ravens are the team everyone tries to prop up incessantly.

This is mostly wrong. He had 109 yards rushing per game before the Jags and 137.7 after.

Saquon took off with the focus on the run game after the bye.

His big games before the Jags were Green Bay where Hurts made some huge plays as well, NY where the whole team just demolished the Giants, and New Orleans where the heroics of Saquon and Hurts to Goedert led to 15 points in a really weird game.

Saquon by himself and no one else lost the Falcons game by dropping a routine ball in his hands.

Saquon's 200+ yard game heroics happened later.

A bunch of us wanted them to play better during the bye week. They were 2-2 because of Saquon and because they did not have Lane, AJ, or DeVonta vs Tampa.

THAT is what Hurts was having trouble adjusting to... No Lane, AJ, or DeVonta... In just that 1 game, in the heat, in Tampa.

Hurts had 311, 268, and 334 total yards in those first 3 games. He did have 4 turnovers in September preseason and lots of us were concerned about that trend after the last 7 game the year before.

Kind of refreshing that more people on the board are realizing Hurts' limitations that were pointed out 5 years ago.

I'd love to know who the 'bunch of us' were that were calling for Siri's head at any point after the bye.

2-2 after 1-6 the year before is when a strong fan base will let the team know that they need to improve.

The entire organization improved at that exact spot.

• run focus

• Cooper DeJean into the lineup

• etc..

We were right and most of us let them improve in front of our eyes week after week.

3-2, 4-2, 5-2, 6-2, 7-2? Lets get angry!

Possibly some felt the Browns game was closer than it should have been?

They won the next 2 by 20+ and the Jags game was only close because the ground caused a fumble after Saquon was touched by a Jag but REF AGENDA gave a TD to the Jags.

How is that on Siri?

I'd say 1/2 of the internet Jalen Hurts fans are only fans of him because he's "cool". That type of fan doesn't realize that being critical doesn't mean you hate the player. They just can't comprehend that the cool guy might not be as good as they think.

The good news is that there are mostly mediocre teams in the NFL. The bad news is that the Eagles are one of them.

That being said, if the Eagles can somehow get a semblance of a run game going and the OC can figure out to call a game, they will be right in it. Find a way to win the next 2, get to the bye and, hopefully, get some guys back for a late season run

The D gave up 367.8 yards per game before the bye... I think that was Hurts not picking up the right zone calls on D at that point. 🤡

It was 222.8 yards per game in the next 7.

Maybe they turned the play calling over to Fangio from Hurts after the bye.

Watching Mac Jones make quick decisions & rip the ball gets me so bothered about how Jalen is playing

Ha! The limitations have been realized since the beginning (RTK excluded). The graph of ruminations and feelings about Hurts from the day he was drafted until today on this board reflect a sine graph. The idea that some of you think you see/understand/realize more than others on this topic is laughable. Myself, I've gone from questioning the pick, to loving him, to wanting to trade him, to wanting to sit him, to accepting who he is, which is definitely good enough, often a clutch enough QB to win SBs. I think I represent the majority in that respect. You can dismount your horse and walk amongst the peasants.

It’s the same with Phillis Twitter. Brandon marsh was amazing until everyone saw in the playoffs he was awful against LHP and couldn’t believe it. if he was forced to play everyday whether it was RHP or LHP his numbers would be far worse.

Tbh if they want to run 12 personnel they need a better 2nd TE. I’d probably draft that kid but if they wanted it as a rental for this year Andrews makes sense depending on the price.
