With the dolphins losing again. I wonder if howie could get both Phillips and Fitzpatrick. Both on expiring contracts and would be decent pickups

Tbh if they want to run 12 personnel they need a better 2nd TE. I’d probably draft that kid but if they wanted it as a rental for this year Andrews makes sense depending on the price.

Yeah I’d rather go the draft route but wouldn’t hate Andrews as TE2 if price is good

I dunno man

After watching our DL whiff all night trying to take down Dart

I’m gonna pass on Phillips

I assume Fitzpatrick, Phillips or Chubb are available. Chubb is under contract for a couple more years. But really i am not high on Phillips. Fitzpatrick is a short term fix and means kuba doesn’t get the experience he needs this year so he makes a bigger leap next year.

lol

I’m struggling to find a defensive player worth the Eagles trading for right now that won’t cost significant cap space or draft capital.

Imo only one currently I’d say go for it would be Denzel Ward. I’d say Crosby but the raiders aren’t going to deal him.

Yeah I would definitely take Crosby. He’d also look so cool in Kelly Green.

With how Ringo/Jackson are playing, might have to go for it on Ward. Curious what draft compensation would be

I want nothing to do with Phillips. He'll be 27 next year and has had major injuries the last 2 years. He played in 9 games in 2023 and 4 games last year. Not sure why so many think he's the guy the Eagles should make a move for. He had 8.5 sacks as a rookie and has declined every year. He has 1 this year. I'd be more interested in a guy like Will McDonald.

Anyone watched much on Tyree Wilson for the Raiders? Been seeing Raiders fans say he’s played well this here, I haven’t caught any Raiders games so I can’t speak on him, but wonder if that could be an option

dude is getting hurt not even playing now lol

Wronger.

The offense is designed the way Hurts likes it. It's been this way for years. This is the second time in three years it's been abysmal and yet most people jumped on firing Patullo immediately. He has his faults, I'm not absolving them.

Now that we're seeing Hurts miss multiple wide open throws over the span of weeks, people are starting to point the finger at him as well.

Hurts has been the constant in the offense and it's wild inconsistency from year to year despite it being catered to what he enjoys, but this is rarely discussed.

Sit the conversation out, you're out of your element here

what is better for eagles? Buccaneers are most likely winning that divison. While niners are 3-0 over every team in their division losing warner/bosa may prove to be to muchand still havve rams on their heels

Baker Houdini

I’d rather Bucs lose. They’re the biggest NFC threats to us outside Detroit

Last year, with the exception of the GB & Cinci game the O struggled to string productive quarters together till after the Jags game when everything clicked. They largely survived on Saquon’s heroics and a budding defense that would round out to leagues best. Don’t you remember the OL walking into Siri’s offense to call for a more run heavy approach? Most of this i attribute to Hurts adjusting to his new protection call responsibilities. But there was certainly issues last year. Hell a bunch of us were calling for Siri’s heads nearly half the season.

You’re right, there were definitely issues but I don’t think they were the same issues. This offense looks a lot like 2022 before Shane took over play calling or most of 2023.

Baker is my pick for MVP right now

Dude is playing unreal

What a catch that was

It doesn’t matter. The Eagles suck.

Franklin losing 3 games in a row and completely losing his program drove the firing. You could see it in his eyes after the game that he was done.

I'd say 1/2 of the internet Jalen Hurts fans are only fans of him because he's "cool". That type of fan doesn't realize that being critical doesn't mean you hate the player. They just can't comprehend that the cool guy might not be as good as they think.

Jalen Hurts for as good as he is, still has weaknesses in his game.

I think there’s a difference between saying the guy has flaws (he does and most fans admit that) and acting like he doesn’t belong in the league. He’s had some bad stretches but he’s also had some of the best game in Birds history at the most important times. He’s not Tebow.

You know you are a crappy team, when you gloat over barely beating a crappier team.
