These guys have made enough money, that if the ring chase looks like a longshot or the body isn’t cooperating - it’s not exactly a kitchen table issue to quit. That's the thing, though. He's like that place is a dumpster fire I'm out.
Monday at 04:42 PM2 days Some of you guys are better than the best comedy writers out there. "Za’Darius Smith is retiring because of the Eagles locker room”The guy played 25 games for the Cleveland Browns …. but, yeah, the Eagles dysfunctional environment from losing two games in a row has sapped this man’s desire to play any longer.Gotta love it.

This will be a hit, we needed another higher end DE along with him being here. If he is retiring we are just Fed. Even if we do trade for someone, these other guys are all basically back end rotation players. Z. Smith could've been perfect as a #3 once N. Smith came back.Hunt and Ojulari are perfectly fine 3 and 4 guys.

Maybe he misses his family. Maybe he doesn’t have the desire to play anymore. It could be any number of things. The guy was unsigned through week two for a reason…

The guy was unsigned through week two for a reason…Exactly. The primary reason a guy like that comes back to play is for a ring. Once he realized whether it was partially do to him not wanting to commit to high level of play or the team itself or the combination of both - that it would be too difficult for him to get a ring here - he decided to retire. He knew he was the only relevant edge playing on this team at this time so obviously he had some sort of dismay towards the team or else he wouldn’t have left them in this predicament.

I'm sure Howie is trying to make moves but I don't know if it will be that big a contract. His in-season trades are usually meh.

Your comment also begs the question as to a good OC. Anyone can draw up some creative play on paper. Good OC's know how to utilize the talents of their players to produce results. It's not dependent on their theory of what an offense should look like. 44 minutes ago, Iggles_Phan said:So that explains why he made a bee-line for him. That's JuJu. He loves to blind side guys. In the meantime, going after him after the game is bush league by Branch. And he was obvious in going straight after JuJu. JuJu also escalated things by going right back after him. Both are wrong. Both should be fined, and likely suspended for their actions. I think Branch should get slightly more than JuJu because he did his nonsense after it was all over. JuJu was at least during a play. Not that it forgives it, but it does change is slightly.Branch was at fault for the fight after the game. It was inexcusable.
Monday at 04:54 PM2 days Id be curious how long Fangio makes Hendrickson ride the pine until he is comfortable with Hendrickson's knowledge of the defense.
