Anyone can draw up some creative play on paper. Good OC's know how to utilize the talents of their players to produce results. It's not dependent on their theory of what an offense should look like.Branch was at fault for the fight after the game. It was inexcusable.A "good OC" utilizing Hurts' talent means the good OC is wasting the talents of AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith. Its a catch-22. You cant really be a "good OC" as long as Hurts is your QB.

All these GM's can see this roster and how our Edge rushers have a combined 1 sack which wasn't even really a sack.I don't know but maybe the same way that the Bengals GM looks at his o-line and says we're good there.

He’s been fantastic for us for the most part and last season was about as good as it gets for a defense and defensive coordinator here. That said, I’m starting to get "when things are going his way, things are great but when things start to slip, they slip fast” type of vibes. There’s a reason he was practically booted out of Miami.

You can complain about Belicheck. Andy Reid. Steve Spagnulo. Jim Johnson....Its a little comical, and when youre losing, its not as funny. But I think Fangio is worthy of about 0% of the blame for anything going wrong this year.
Monday at 05:02 PM2 days Some of these guys just hit a wall with their body and realize they can't do it anymore, or don't have the passion and motivation. Fans sitting on the couch eating junk food and frothing at the mouth complaining, have no idea the toll football takes on their bodies. Being told you're too old for your job at 30 years old, having daily pain and playing through nagging injuries. They already have plenty of money (if they managed their finances well) and have to weigh if it's worth still playing or not. Lane Johnson is a freaking warrior, but he's talked about retirement, wondering how much longer he can do it. Jason Kelce talked about it for at least 2 seasons before eventually retiring. The Eagles are one of the most well-run organizations. Their culture and leadership has helped them take things that might be bigger distractions or issues at other teams, and downplay them and move on. They manage the different personalities and find ways to keep them focused.

It's been two games in a week. The defense is also getting worn out.

If you could show me where Patullo has done really well everywhere but here, I am interested. I know Hurts doesn't do some things well. He's still very good at certain things and has made more good throws than bad. Certainly bad players can make good OC's look bad but that's not what is going on with the Eagles.

But favoring certain players , making players sit out for long periods of time and the likelihood he was behind the Eagles not resigning Rodgers - which if is the case, could have cost us a win this season - maybe more.

"Za’Darius Smith is retiring because of the Eagles locker room”The guy played 25 games for the Cleveland Browns …. but, yeah, the Eagles dysfunctional environment from losing two games in a row has sapped this man’s desire to play any longer.Gotta love it.Fire Howie - We're worse than the Browns!
Monday at 05:10 PM2 days My goodness.. the eagles have to be the longest running soap opera of all time. The drama is endless.

Monday at 05:12 PM2 days Trying to figure out what's more depressing about these posts. The fact that he's retiring, or the fact that 1.5 sacks through 6 games is the most by edge rushers. Ugh.

Monday at 05:14 PM2 days This team is not 1 player away from getting back on track and being SB bound. I'm not giving up anything for Trey Hendrickson. Not that they have to give up on the season, but at some point they need to realize it's not their year and not giving away assets that will help build this team long term is much more valuable than a 1/2 year rental.

Johnson may retire. DG may be gone. I don't trust Howie to make in season trades at the same time.
