It’s soooo hilarious watching MAGA tards gloat about the destruction of free speech. They are not even hiding it anymore. They only care about lies being allowed to spread via speech.

Comical. This entire country is doomed

Remember when Al Gore said the polar ice caps would melt by 2014 and that we needed to spend trillions of dollars to stop this?

Foolish people like yourself 1) believe him, and 2) think we should entrust trillions of dollars to be spent wisely to prevent this, and 3) if we raise and spend that money and tank the economy, we should implicitly understand that the money raised would not be embezzled or stolen

Remember when all the left wing wackos were cheering this on, and then got smacked with a dose of reality when Trump was re-elected in 2024. Fun stuff!!

Putting aside the fact that this gal was fired, how in the world did she ever get hired for that job in the first place? Did she gain 100 lbs while on her job promoting good health?

This is why we have oversight and appropriations committees and why we have bills upon bills with amendments after amendments that try to hide and/or kill all or parts of the bills. And this is happening on both sides. Total crap show.

All he did was use the recent murder of an influential figure to dishonestly mock and slander half the country. How weird that Disney wouldn’t want that on their airwaves.

Half the country? 😂

Trump got 77 million votes

There are roughly 350 million people in the US

Roughly 240 million are of voting age

Please explain how that’s half by any metric?

Again I’ll ask: what did Kimmel say that was offensive to Kirk? I doubt maga watches Kimmel so why would Disney care what that demographic thinks? I don’t watch Kimmel but I didn’t see anyone on the internet who was butthurt over his comment until tonight. So at least admit he was cancelled because he hurt trumps feelings.

Do you have confidence that these committees and their employees do their jobs properly and aren't subjected to outside influence?

It's the old story of the naughty kid that always misbehaves. He does one nasty thing after another and continues to get away with it. Then finally, he does something seemingly innocuous, and his mom lowers the boom on him. He cries - what did I do?

Jimmy Kimmel was pulled not just for this incident. It was the non stop over the edge political baiting that insulted if not 1/2 the country, a considerable chunk of the population base. This was just the single straw that broke the camel's back.

Not at all, but the point it a president or a presidential candidate saying crap like what you suggested is inconsequential because the president doesn’t just have power to do anything he or she wants. There is a system to assure that absolute power isn’t a thing. But sadly we are starting to get to a point where that’s not true. And you seem to be ok with it. It’s called a dictatorship. If it was Biden or Obama as the dictator you’d be losing your crap.

It's called a strong presidency, and we've had them before. Ever hear of LBJ? FDR? George HW Bush? Invariably, people who oppose the president freak out during an administration with a strong president. You cannot imagine how much FDR was despised in many circles during his presidency.

Regrettably, our country was on the verge of becoming a failed state following the disastrous Biden presidency, and strong counter measures are needed. Couple that with a pending WWIII that Trump was handed when he took office again, and it's the only thing that will save us, if we haven't already passed the point of no return.

I disagree that Trump is a strong president. In the contrary he is weak, he’s seen as weak by many other countries hence the invisible 90 deals in 90 days, the wars that haven’t ended, the mocking from the UK this week, etc. and he overcompensates for this to a degree that’s unimaginable. The likes of which nobody has ever seen maybe ever. He’s the epitome of small man syndrome. A failed businessman that has run everything including this country into the ground.

That’s said, I do not think Biden should have run for a second term. The dems messed up. Misplayed their hand and here we are. It won’t happen again.

Give me a Fing break. He was canned because Trump and maga are a bunch of thin skinned pussys.

Nobody did late night better than Johnny Carson. Here's a clip of what I alluded to earlier. This applies to Jimmy Kimmel too.

With how quickly Nexstar came out that they were pulling Kimmel of their ABC affiliates, you’d think that they had a pending merger up for approval with the FTC or something.

Or maybe it’s because the chairman of the FCC was appointed by Trump. Nah that can’t have anything to do with it. What am I thinking.

You have to laugh at Obama. Obama says that Trump’s and associates’s comments blaming "the radical Left” are sowing further division. So, calling Trump an existential threat to democracy, fascist, NSDAP, Hitler, authoritarian, autocrat, boob, wannabe dictator, etc. isn’t a problem, but blaming the Left for their rhetoric that created the division that has led to assassination attempts isn’t a problem? He has a chance to unite the country as a good moral leader of the Left and he passes…again.

Fetterman is the best moral leader of the Democrat party, but no one on their side is liking him.

Different era/generation. I disagree Carson kept politics out of it from my recollections, but that was pre internet, pre social media, pre billion dollar ad revenue, etc. we all consume our content in different ways in today’s world. So trump can say "failing ratings” all he wants but the truth is all late night ratings suck. Even SNL is changing up formats and may end entirely because people just don’t watch tv anymore. Kimmel will likely land a mega deal with YT or Netflix or somewhere else where it’s less about ad revenue and more about subscription rev.

There’s a reason why even Trump realized the value of streaming and tried to start a whole "tariff the movies going to Netflix” campaign.

I can’t even tell you the last time owner Jed Kimmel live. I usually watch the monologue in bed on my phone hours later and then fall asleep in peace after he undresses Trump. It’s good therapy before a nice long snooze.

Fetterman? Nah. He may have some sympathy following but the dems leading candidate is pete boutigieg. He’s going to be a problem for the reps in 2028. next up is probably newsome, but also the Chicago guy who stood up to Trump recently. Dems have options. Reps have to hope trump is successful in his dictatorship or fallback on a couch Fer. Nobody else in line.

Pin it. We can revisit later and if I’m wrong so be it. But he’s going to be the lead guy is my prediction.
