Outrageous/Disgusting opinions and posts spark the most engagement and response, so they are accentuated by social media platform algos in order to drive engagement. So the 10% that represent the worst of the worst get the most attention.

I love this alternate reality where Democratic leaders are celebrating Kirk's death and calling for political violence. Yes, some of them interrupted the moment of silence in the House, and they are wrong for doing that. But every Democratic leader from Obama to Newsom and everyone else has condemned the murder and called it abhorrent.

Being outraged is not synonymous with threatening war on an opposition party. Let alone doing it before we even have a single suspect sheet for brains.

Point to a democratic congressperson, senator, president, cabinet member etc who threatened civil war after a the assassinations in Minnesota. Of elected lawmakers no less, not a blogger. Go ahead. Find one.
