They need OL and TE unless a good CB or DL falls to them and the talent gap is too large to ignore.

Go back to the Bears game in Philly when it was very cold and Hurts looked like he didn't want to be there. His facial expressions and huddling under a parka gave me that vibe. Can we trust A.J. to extend his arms in 15 degree weather to catch a pass? He wouldn't do it in perfect weather in LA. I don't know.GB, as I don't see CHI winning that division, and there's a good chance they could fall out of the playoffs. of course, we too could fall out of the playoffs, but I think we'll get in due to WSH and LV being terrible. With that said, I could see GB losing in the first round and if we don't falter, we'd more than likely have to travel back to SoFi to face the Rams.

If Phillips walks, then edge is the most pressing need on the team as Smith and Hunt would be the only edge rushers on the roster (Uche, Ojulari and BG are free agents as well); if we resign Phillips, then the most pressing need beyond edge (would still need more than 3) are CB (Jackson is a FA, Ringo can't be trusted, Carter will be cut) and TE assuming we don't extend Goedert. Then there's the question on Blankenship.Expect Edge, CB, OL and S to be priorities.

If we are being honest Smith hasn't shown much since coming back either and I've forgotten Hunt was on the team the last 3 games.

Of course, it’s hard to have much reservation about Jalen at 23 and on a rookie contract.I’m not a Pavia fan. He’s a good ball player in college. I don’t think he is an NFL starter buts that’s just an opinion. He’s already played 6 years in college, he’s 6’0, 207lbs. His style of play will get him hurt often.

I'd still like to see them draft a TE but with other needs I can see that being a day 3 pick as you said.

I don't believe it's an issue, when the chips are all on the line here. I don't really lean into the bit with Hurts and his disinterested body language. He's pretty stoic regardless. I am looking forward to Lane Johnson back as one of the reasons it will get better. Besides, just figuring some things out in the next few weeks to have some semblance of a decent offense.

33 minutes ago33 min DT has been interesting this season. Carter's stock is somewhat lower, while Jordan Davis' has risen. Some people have never liked Jordan Davis, some people this season have said he hasn't done anything at all this season except a blocked FG in the Rams game, clearly ignoring all his good plays. Now in recent weeks people are saying he's the DT to invest in and re-sign not let walk.People were also down on Dean early and he's emerged as a great player, so good that people think we can't keep him and he'll sign somewhere else.Jalyx Hunt was a 3rd round rookie in his 2nd year and some people wanted him to play like Josh Sweat immediately, and he's improved a lot this season (people also forget that during most of last season people wanted Sweat gone and said how overrated he was). They always say not to judge players/drafts until 3 years at at least. We're seeing what quality coaching on defense provides, with consistency and accountability. And having quality guys on the roster that do it the right way to model for others. Baun is a professional that goes about it the right way. Even younger players like Dean, Mitchell and DeJean have sound fundamentals and are good examples.
31 minutes ago31 min I feel like the future path of the Eagles is set.Patullo gets fired in the offseason. An OC with playcalling experience comes in with Siri as the lame duck HC. The offense may have some modest improvements, but it's not going to be good. Howie is an outstanding GM, but the rapid turnarounds from the 2015, 2020, and 2023 disasters are not reliable and aren't happening after the 2025 collapse. Siri gets fired after the 2026 season. A new HC comes in for 2027 with Hurts as the lame duck holdover QB. Hurts gets benched halfway through 2027 by the new HC once it's impossible to argue he has a future here. And then the full-on rebuild commences.
26 minutes ago26 min I do think this offense will not soar again until there is a new QB. I think Hurts has tuned out the coaching staff, many of the players have tuned out Hurts, others have tuned out the staff...and he's just never going to grow as a passer enough to offset the fact that he's not dangerous as a runner anymore. We've got Hurts as the starting QB for the balance of 2025, all of 2026, and half of 2027. No way around it.

Unfortunately, the film won't show you if they can block at all unless you dig deeper and view game film footage:Kenyon Sadiq -- good speed, athletic, catches numerous TE screens the Eagles seem to run a lot ... so, he knows our play book already.Max Klare -- he's Zach Ertz, basically. A younger version who makes moves, shakes tackles. You can't not see Ertz when you watch him, IMOEli Stowers -- big slot, only 235 lbs, not dynamic at all. Not a fan Joe Royer -- somewhat more physical but not exciting, only okay movementJack Endries -- catch and fall TE. If you're waiting for him to break a tackle you might need to shaveMichael Trigg -- he's more exciting and uber-athletic, but only 240 lbs (looked lighter so maybe can put on weight, but .... ). He's intriguingOscar Delp -- UGA guy who played with Bowers. Poor man's version, but not a bad player. Pure pass catcher, though.
