Yes, Win Saturday and they are Champs. But if Dallas loses one more game, they are still Champs no matter what so we are in a great spot.

It’s not highly likely but not impossible either if the eagles can manage to win out. With how the eagles have looked outside raiders game that is really not a given. bears schedule is difficult down the stretch. Have vs. Gb, at sf and vs. lions. Week 18 vs. lions could be for a playoff spot if bears lose the next 2 and lions win their next two. Can see the bears losing 2 of 3. Packers just lost parsons and potentially Christian Watson. Also go to bears, vs. Baltimore and at Minnesota.

I'm not a huge believer that momentum will mean much once the playoffs start but you really don't want to lose 2 out of the last 3 because that would mean you'd be 2-5 in the last 7 games and that would speak to where the team is more than momentum. I think this team needs to play well particularly on offense for a few games

Maybe. Chiefs also didn’t get help from the nfl scheduling last year. They had TNF, Black Friday game, Saturday game and then a Wednesday Xmas day game. Chiefs played on a short week 5 times (technically 6 if you include week 1 being TNf; i don’t as basically entire offseason before that game). Eagles will have 5 times ( technically 6 if you include week 1 being TNF)

The Eagles can talk all they want about vibes and confidence. Beating Buffalo in Buffalo will send them into the playoffs believing they are ready for a big run.

If they lose that game, then they basically finish the season on a 4 game losing streak against teams that aren’t tanking for draft position.

Thats a big game, IMO.

The price of being champs... but the Eagles have always been a draw, so when a national game is available, the Eagles will always be in consideration for that slot. Hence the Friday Night opener in Brazil last year... Black Friday game this year, etc. The Eagles draw eyes... therefore $$$.

yup...I am not a big fan of having the Eagles play 2 consecutive games on a short weeks in December. Hopefully they can get things right again this week and then look at strategic rest. I am unable to lean either way with the rest versus maintaining offensive continuity calculus. I have seen really good changes and results the past two weeks on offense and I want to the Eagles get out in front of that, but not at the expense of a tired/injured player or two.

The Eagles can roll in as the #2/#3 seed with a home game and then hope for an upset to get them a second home game like last year.

Ending with the loss Thursday before last against DET, DAL played 4 games in 18 days. The NFL could have easily had the DAL-LAS game on Sunday vs Monday, and the DET game on Sunday vs Thursday, but hey player safety and all. Didn’t impact the season but that’s a lot of football in 18 days.

FYI: The 49ers play the Seahawks Week 18. Winner probably gets the 5 seed and loser goes to Philadelphia Wild Card Weekend. 49ers won their first meeting this year and have the tiebreaker if they win again.

I don't have too much respect for the Niners, mostly because I stuck in the middle of the fandom...5 of their last 6 games have been the Giants, Carolina, Cardinals, Browns and Titans with the battered Colts up next. They are so overrated....but are always a tough matchup for the Eagles...

I know some people in here get dramatic especially about Dallas but the media took that and ran a little bit as well.

All because they came back and beat us after losing a 21-0 lead, with the help of lopsided officiating. Then they beat KC who really is not very good this year.

i love to hear people making fools of themselves going over board about Dallas after they have a couple good games. They finally got back to 0.500 and silliness ALWAYS ensues. They started the year 3-5-1. Why? Because they are not a good team. But they got to 6-5-1 and people freak out. Now they are 6-7-1 and all but eliminated. They would have been eliminated already if the Eagles offense hadn't decided to take a 3 game siesta midseason. I still can't figure out how they managed to lose that game against Dallas when they were up 21-0... my guess is that they checked out at that time and just couldn't reignite the flame. This team can't check out on anyone.
