I just realized. This was the first time we beat a Pete Carroll coached team since he became the HC for the Seahawks. I think we were 0-8 against until yesterday. Yay!!!

I got the right PPG missing a game and combining two games, lol. But yes D has been playing well since the bye week.

Would really like to see some offensive consistency as we close out the season. Creativity, sustained drives, points. Build momentum as we head into the postseason. Truly feel that if our offense can put up 24-28 ppg we won’t lose another game on to another Super Bowl.

While he played well, no one at that team including Crosby was giving more than 50% effort. They were cold and knew they were basically tanking. If he has a performance close to that against the Bills, now we are talking.

I know it’s too early to talk about the off-season, but I am super curious to see what they do with jaelen Phillips. Imo with Jordan Davis stepping up and playing even better with Carter out, I think the Eagles want to get him and Carter long-term deals. then just replenish everything behind them in the draft and undrafted free agents and developing them.

But the pass rushing position you’re not gonna be able to pay those two guys, and then pay 3 pass rushers. If they let Phillips walk, collect the likely 3rd comp pick and then it’s move forward with smith and hunt. However if you pay Phillips, i don’t see them being able to pay everyone that includes Davis, Carter, Phillips, smith and hunt along with dejean, Mitchell, potentially Reed and Baun.

if they extend Phillips, I could see the logic of hunt over smith. Smith can be really good and even great but he’s also had injuries from the time he’s been at Georgia till now. Also, hunt came into the league with not much experience at his position. The fact that he is where he is after two years is pretty amazing. So I could see the eagles thinking hunt is just scratching the surface of his potential and in his second contract gets to another level. Frankly can have all 3 for 2026 but in 2027 hunt and smith would be in the last year of their deals (assuming smith gets his 5th year option picked up) and i don’t see the eagles just letting both play it out.
