17 means you cant lose by 2 TDs (if we didn't get the 2)

Getting 2 protects the tie on a 8+8+3.

It was right decision, albeit for a very unlikely scenario as going up by 18 is no different than being up by 17.

Still think they should play starters next week vs Buffalo. Its a playoff caliber team and a good test. Then rest guys week 18 before playoffs.

Ringo is a nice special teams player but he is an awful corner.
