There was a very insightful graphic during the Eagles/Commanders game that showed the offense and defense rankings of every SB champion over the last several years. Only the 2015 Broncos and 2023 Chiefs remotely fit the profile of the 2025 Eagles. I think that's completely accurate and represents the path the Eagles would have to take. They are lucky that the field of competition is shaping up to allow a SB winner who fits that profile this year.

NBC was saying that precedent points to a fine only. Ridiculous if that's true.

Lamar Jackson got no punishment in week 1.

This was a season that saw 2 players get suspended 1 game for spitting on another player (Carter & Chase). If spitting on a player gets you a game, it's hard to fathom they argue that punching a fan doesn't get you something.

Kind of think the jaguars are the scariest team in the AFC if Lawrence keeps playing at this level. His last month has been crazy good. Since rams whooped them and their bye, they are averaging 33 ppg, defense is giving up 19.5 ppg. They whooped chargers and went into Denver and won by 14. They also have won by an average of 13.4 points per game since the bye. Seemingly getting better every week

Everyone jokes and complains about the Eagles running game on first downs but seriously WTH is going on there?

It’s obvious as soon as the ball is about to be snapped what they are going to do and that it isn’t going to work. It almost seems like running into a wall on purpose. The blocking has been mediocre but they can’t change it up a bit? It’s like they just want to get first down out of the way so they can move on to their real pride and joy… second own.

The Bears are underdogs in both of their remaining games, that's why the Eagles are the odds-on favorites for the #2.

Buffalo is -2.5, that’s the Vegas line, but that’s separate from being a favorite.

A favorite is whomever I officially declare the better team.

I wouldn’t view it as a negative if Chicago wins next week and the Eagles get to rest guys week 18 against what would be a chippy game versus Washington.

Imo makes it more impressive they’ve gotten very little from their top 5 pick from 2025 to help make the turnaround. (That said i didn’t like that pick cause i thought they gave up too much and didn’t think Hunter could survive playing offense and defense at the reps he did in college)

As much as I’d like the 2 seed, i think having a de facto bye in week 18 is more helpful. Could use the rest for a couple of guys. I think we can go on the road and win games. Add on if it’s chicago i do think with how we got embarrassed for much of the Black Friday game that we’ll play with a chip on our shoulder. They alluded to that when commanders celebrated their Super Bowl last year in week 16 beating us an nfc title game.

Worst case scenario for the playoffs would be landing the Rams as the 5th seed.
