Yea I'm not sure how people were happy with that performance and think they're trending in the right direction. Sure they ended up scoring 29 and wouldve been more without the misses. That said they only scored 14 through 3 quarters and then finally did something at the end of the game. Played (coached) like cowards at the end of the first half.

Yet again the only reason they won was the defense kept the commanders off the scoreboard until the offense un-Fed themselves. 14 points through 3 quarters against an awful team with backups at corner

They only had five possessions and punted once through 3 quarters. We would have had 20 points with an accurate kicker.

Tbh the eagles have moved the ball well the last 3 weeks. Even the chargers game, they’d moved the ball well. It was the consistent turnovers that killed us in that chargers game.

5 turnovers isn't a key to success?

Actually, I want to see how Hinton, Williams and Pierce develop. I think there may be some quality depth there. Not downplaying getting OL help despite this. Doesn’t look like a good OT draft.

I think secondary may need to be a priority as it is possible that three Ss are gone (Blankenship, Brown and Epps) and 2, maybe 3, CBs are gone (Jackson, Carter and maybe Ringo). I think Brandon Johnson and McWilliams may offer some depth although McWilliams has been inactive, which doesn’t bode well. Some decent prospects there for both positions.

Good draft for TEs.

If Phillips isn’t extended, OLB may be a position of need. Decent prospects for the position in the draft.

As always, BPA.

We may need secondary players, but I'd argue that the investment in quality should be in the OL rather than Safety. We've had a top defense with Reed, CJGJ, Mukuba, Brown, and now Epps. We should focus on excellence at OL and competence at Safety.

I am assuming that we sign Phillips.

How you going to pay him and davis and carter? Nolan smith will want a new deal too.

Then the following year Q, Coop and Hunt at minimum

The secret to doing all of that is somehow divesting from our overpaid overrated offense. Starts with letting Goedert walk.

Top ten in both EPA/play and Success Rate.

There is a narrative that team decided to head into 2025 with the same scheme that had worked in 2024 - run the ball, take shots downfield, and avoid turnovers. However, Patullo struggled to make that 2024 offense work with a lesser OL and facing defenses focused on stopping the run. After the loss to the Giants, Sirianni acquiesced and allowed Patullo to find solutions. He has been installing changes over the past two months. It was never going to be sudden. Stuff needed to be honed in practice before being placed into the game plan. One could argue that the effective offense we are seeing is a Patullo scheme and his guiding us here is a success story.

Yeah... I am thinking the Eagles need to avoid finding a player with a "versatility" label. I believe they need a couple of "anchors", especially at OT. I believe the highest priority this offseason is investing in Lane's replacement and that will take a first round pick. Someone who has multiple years of successful experience at that one position. They all need to prioritize CB, TE and OG with those first picks...the OG can be a OT transfer. Howie is in for a very demanding and busy offseason, especially with all the defensive personnel decisions and nailing the draft. I believe the Eagles can keep the window open for a few more years, but there has to be a lot of precision in their thinking and planning.

I've read this is a bad draft for tackles. Much better for guards.

Nah man, the offense has been good lately. Look around the league. Everyone has problems.

This. I’m all for taking OL. But we have holes elsewhere too. I can’t just hyper focus on just OL. I’d grab one if a good one falls and is BPA. Even 2 if it’s the case. But i kind of think there’s a chance Blankenship, Dean (have his replacement in houses already), goedert and Phillips are gone. Still have a hole at second starting corner. As well as depth at safety and corner. We don’t have the luxury like year’s past to splash in FA. We have guys who need extensions soon so I’m guessing maybe 1 signing or 2 to fill holes and asking young guys to step up and then gonna need to use some of these higher draft picks to draft guys and fill in and help More immediately.

Kansas City being in Missouri is a Missouri issue. It's just weird. Could you imagine Texas City, Arkansas? No! They decided it should give acknowledgement to both states and is instead called "Texarkana"... with two separate municipalities, one each in TX and AR, forming a single metropolitan area.

Its even weirder because Kansas City crosses the border so there is some KC in both states.

Eagles playoff opponents from most ideal to least

Lions - Eagles matchup well with them give their OL injuries and I don’t think Goff would handle outdoors in Philly well again.

Bears - just not buying the Bears. Their defense stinks and I don’t think Caleb Williams is good, he’s more lucky than good. Fangio would be licking his chops for another shot at Ben Johnson

Niners - aren’t great on either side of the ball. They aren’t bad on either side either. But nothing about them scares me.

Packers - others will have them lower, but I think they are dangerous. Good WRs, good RB, good defense even without Parsons. Could be a close game and in those anything can happen with one mistake or fluky play to turn the tables.

Seahawks - likely would be on the road. They don’t scare me per se but they have a good defense, a solid running game and the best WR in the NFL this season.

Rams - I just think they’re most dangerous even though the Eagles own them. Stafford is playing great ball, have good WRs, a good running game, and a good pass rush.

Dang Phillip Rivers lol. Just proves how much of QB play is played between the ears.

I would be ok with the niners. Screw them.

Depends if you play in the NBA and placed some bets

Standing over a guy after tackling him is a fine, but running to the other EZ and dancing is cool?

Potentially, yes

I couldn't care less about the average person though. Mitchell is very sexy to me, and we are very fortunate to have him.

He’s been everything that Nnamdi was supposed to be.

I agree he's amazing but he doesn't get the stats that get him the fan voted pro bowl. You need to be recognized for that. He'll probably get that later in his career

Who else could they potentially be playing?!!?!

He's right though. Mitchell's name rarely ever gets called and he's only been in the league for 2 years now. The average person is not going to know his name

Cooper is different. For one he's one of the few white DBs in the league and he got a pick 6 in the SB. He's also had picks this year

Wouldn’t be shocked to see Q crack the top 20 in the player voted top 100. People only really see Q during the occasional PI called on him. Glad he got a camp and full season with Slay. It shows. I also love how just calm he is out there. Zero emotion the entire game. Just business.

DeJawn…honestly might be 3 after Garrett and Njigba.

We're less than a decade away from 1/2 the teams in the NFL having a dome/retractable roof stadiums.

Bears, Titans, Chiefs, Browns, Redskins and most likely the Broncos are moving in to domes.

Indy, Atlanta, Detroit, Minnesota, Dallas, Houston, LAR, LAC, New Orleans, Arizona, Las Vegas all play in domes.

This sucks.

Buffalo too…allegedly.

Isn't the top 100 only from players or do fans vote in that as well?
