Basically, yes.

His base salary next year of $25M was guaranteed. If it’s true his suspension voided his guarantees, he’ll still make the same amount assuming he’s on the team, but the Steelers would have the option of releasing him and getting out of his contract with minimal consequences.

This is so beautiful... maybe they should put this whiff block by Jurgens into the playbook. Without his getting to the 2nd level so fast on the LB, this doesn't hit like it does.

I think it’s safe to say the 2025 Colts collapse is substantially worse than the Eagles 2023 collapse.

Colts aren’t even going to make the playoffs after being power ranked top 3 for most of the first half of the season. Wow.

I wouldn’t understand how. One was a team just in the Super Bowl with no significant injuries and a legitimate chance to get back. One is a team most thought were overachieving with Daniel Jones who they ended up losing to injury.

The Colts just seemed like the team to beat the first half of the season - similar to the Eagles in 2023. Now the Colts aren’t even going to make the playoffs - albeit losing Jones is the main reason.
