Just clauses in the contract that any suspensions, criminal arrests, failed PED’s test etc. automatically void future guarantees. It’s pretty common.

Eagles do it too. It’s similar to Jernigan hurting himself doing something stupid and voiding his guaranteed money.

Basically, yes.

His base salary next year of $25M was guaranteed. If it’s true his suspension voided his guarantees, he’ll still make the same amount assuming he’s on the team, but the Steelers would have the option of releasing him and getting out of his contract with minimal consequences.

I think it’s safe to say the 2025 Colts collapse is substantially worse than the Eagles 2023 collapse.

Colts aren’t even going to make the playoffs after being power ranked top 3 for most of the first half of the season. Wow.

Never saw myself defending Daniel Jones, but they’re most likely a playoff team if he doesn’t go down.
