19lb brisket trimmed down to 15lb…I’ll wrap it in about an hour, maybe two, in butcher paper. Hoping it’s done by midnight but it’ll be close. Hold it overnight @150. It’s 78 here today so the cook is moving along nicely, crazy warm for Christmas.

Tomorrow morning after the grandson opens his gifts I’ll smoke the boneless skinless turkey breast, a pork belly, and some jalapeño & cheddar sausage…Christmas dinner, with enough the kids can take some home.

I’ve never tried scrapple, gonna have to check it out since you all have introduced me to it now. Hash i’ve had, and it’s ok every once in a while, usually a little salty for me.

If corned beef hash is too salty for you then scrapple will make your innards shrivel. Your brisket looks delicious.

I cooked my own corn beef. And then chop it up and mix it with the potatoes in the hash. To eliminate any chance of saltines, I cook it in apple cider rather than any other kind of water or they like it with salt the apple cider it works very nicely with the natural meats of the corn beef brisket.

Yea, I got mine out in my late teens but it was bad. They didn’t give me enough stuff. I didn’t feel much pain but I remember everything. They had to cut two of them on my bottom jaw with a saw and basically use a wrench to break them off. My whole jaw was bruised and swollen after, couldn’t eat solids for a few days because it was just too painful.

I had strong pain meds so felt fine but i was exhausted. I got them out on a Friday. Sunday I thought I was fine for church but I was falling asleep & slipping down the chair, had to go home to sleep.

For anyone who hasn't looked at the playoff scenario's ... Eagles and 1st seed can no longer happen.

There are 2 paths to the 2nd seed. Obviously, the Eagles win out.

Bears get the 1st seed. 49ers win the West at 12-5 Which means the Seahawks lose out. Seahawks are at Panthers, then at 49ers. The 49ers must lose to the Bears so they can beat the Seahawks to win the West.

Packers win the North. If the Bears lose out and the Packers win out, the Packers win the North and would be the 3rd seed. That would mean a West team would get 1st seed and Eagles would have 2nd.

If I missed a scenario. please let me know.

This makes me think of hyaluronic acid injections such as euflexxa, synvisc, Nelson, etc...

Those are given as 1 injection a week over 3 weeks. Hence, multiple injections in each shoulder.

They are not FDA approved for any joint except the knee, but theoretically you can use them elsewhere and I know a doctor that has put them in shoulders before.

If that's the case, that implies arthritic shoulders.

Watching the Elway documentary on Netflix and they are at the part of his first Super Bowl win. Talking about the infamous Terrell Davis Super Bowl migrane. I didnt realized he got it after taking a hit. That wasnt a migraine, that was a concussion.

I'll try. Tough part is its a two part cook... I'm smoking it at my house, then while its resting it will get about an hour's drive to where the party is being hosted... then it will be blasted with 500 degrees to get the final crust. The test run with that method wasn't too bad. I may or may not get some pics of them.

The early predictions continue to lean toward the Eagles with the #3 seed in the Playoffs. With 17 predictions recorded 8 are for an Eagles win and 9 are for a Bills win. I personally have more faith in Tanner McKee than that, but time will tell. The average predicted score is Eagles 21 Bills 24.
