Someone please put Wheel of Fortune out of its misery. I caught the last 2-3 minutes and honestly thought Ryan Seacrest was Maury Povich. Vanna White is now damn near 70 years-old

The perfect girl to get the ratings back up, among other things:

I just watched highlights of the Bills game from 2 years ago. It was a Classic. Josh is 0-2 Vs the Birds. That was an amazing performance by the Offense. After that win I was sure we were headed back to the Super Bowl but we all know what happen. There's talk about this team and 2023 team but that team started 10-1 and this team started 8-2 before they faced losing streaks. 2023 was talked about a lot this year but to me that year was an anomaly, an outliner not the norm. Again The Seattle and Arizona wins were very fluky and the Birds should have finished 13-4 that year and the #1 Seed again (49ers was 12-5 that year) and we are talking 4 straight NFC East titles like the Andy/Donovan Era. Anyways the Bills rush defense is just as bad as Washington. There is no excuse to not run the ball. I think Saquon and Tank need to eat this game. Once the Eagles let Saquon loose in the 2nd half they basically blew out Washington.

This makes me think of hyaluronic acid injections such as euflexxa, synvisc, Nelson, etc...

Those are given as 1 injection a week over 3 weeks. Hence, multiple injections in each shoulder.

They are not FDA approved for any joint except the knee, but theoretically you can use them elsewhere and I know a doctor that has put them in shoulders before.

If that's the case, that implies arthritic shoulders.

Could be frozen shoulders / capsulitis I've had a cortisone injections in my shoulder before now, it would also explain the surgery only happening now, as the initial treatment is non invasive. Have to say my shoulders hurt like all hell when they were frozen, I could barely reach for a beer glass never mind shove 330lb guys about of the way.

@mattwill

This game is hard to get a read on. I don’t know how much each team will put into it vs the idea of going into the postseason as healthy as possible. I don’t think it’ll be a true preseason game atmosphere, but I can see any iffy players sitting or going very little.

Buffalo 24

Birds 13

Jake with a missed PAT.

Merry Christmas all.

There wouldn't be multiple injections in each shoulder for that over the course of 3 weeks.

Yup. We were on the edge of Pennsylvania Dutch country, and the mutton force was (and still is) strong there.

Where was that? Which school?

NFL deserves it. No need for Xmas games. We have nba, college football on during that time. It’s already too much. They have thanksgiving. Honestly i hate the Saturday games when the college football playoff is going on at the same time.

I don’t mind the Saturday NFL games late in the year. Not a fan of the Thursday games at all.

Barkley needs 155 more scrimmage yards for a 250k bonus.

Something to watch if the Eagles rest week 18. I suspect the eagles would pay him the bonus anyway even if he doesn't get it this week.

Hill School in Pottstown, home of the Heaven and Earth Grocery Store.

BTW, that is a very good book if you haven’t read it.

These Christmas games suck. The league wants us to be with our families lol

LOL.

My wife is AWESOME with that show, she regularly gets the puzzle before the show's contestants. But it is also easier to guess correctly on them when you are sitting on your couch, as opposed to actually being in the studio, in front of TV cameras.

I keep pressing her to apply for the show. Win us some $$$$!!!!

I think I'd rather be at home, with just my wife and dog, today. Instead, I have to drive 2 hours, both ways, to see my parents and effing CRAZY sister. 😆😬

Best part of the day is that I'll get to bring home Turkey and Stuffing and Greenbean casserole leftovers. Foods that I never cook/eat at home.

@Joe Ball game on!

You went to the Hill School? Did you grow up there or did you board? My dad grew up in Pottstown- used to take me to a diner there he said had the best chili dogs anywhere. My brother's father in law went to the Hill School and was lifetime friends with Lamar Hunt. Hunt would have his Hill School football teammates to a game in KC every year until he passed.

Merry Christmas Ladies & Gentlemen!!

Got it. I went there a couple of times to watch my brothers play youth hockey tourneys back in the day. Super nice rink. Some of the local kids in my area went to HIll for school as well.

I know of the book but never read it.

Yes. Class of 1966. I never met Lamar through a Hill connection, but the Upper School dormitory I lived in both Junior (5th Form) and Senior (6th Form) years had just been upgraded thanks to a generous gift of Lamar and his brothers. It wasn’t until we moved to Dallas that I met Lamar. His two sisters were important contributors to my wife’s employer and he came to one of their functions. He was a very gracious and personable man.

My dad may well have been the referee in some of your brothers’ games. Hill had a nice mix of boarders and "day hoppers.”

Fun. I love Pottstown connections. All my great Aunts and Uncles on my dad's side remained in Pottstown. Once we move up from Atlanta we would go to Pottstown once a month.

They probably thought all these teams would be good and in playoff contention at minimum.

Dallas Washington is a big rivalry. Dallas always gets ratings and with the Commados just being in the NFCCG with a young star QB. Both Detroit and Minny have been disappointing but I dont know who thought the Vikes wouldn't take a step down with basically a rookie QB learning on the fly who cant stay healthy. Denver is a good team but I dont think anyone expected the Chiefs to be as bad as they are, now down to their 3rd string QB.

Its been a strange year all around the league when it comes to injuries.

They should probably stop with the aerial shots of the stadium. Half hour before kickoff and the seats look 90% empty
