Which adds intrigue. Battle of the backup QBs on playoff/borderline playoff teams in primetime.

Not worth getting Peacock for. If it was on regular channels then yeah, sure I'd watch.

So Eisen is a Shedeur licking scumbag who freaked out at 32 owners and GMs on NFLN during the draft but also he is hideous as a play by play guy.

That MASSIVE stuff that someone else mentioned is so stupid.

Someone get him a thesaurus.

This might actually end up being the year that makes the NFL do something about the officiating. In a year with no great teams, a lot of these playoff games are gonna be nail biters. Can count on one hand the number of competently officiated games I’ve seen all year. We’re on a bullet train headed for a playoff shitshow.

Texans are dangerous. They got outplayed for 3 out of 4 quarters today though. Chargers have that game away

I will give the Texans $10 - of my own money - to destroy Denver in the playoffs. I want Sean Payton's face pushed in so far up his gross ugly ass that he won't/can't see out of his eyes for like 6 months.

Maybe don't play him until the playoffs then? This team is so beyond stupid with injury management this year. "We played more than anyone last season, 4 of our most important players have been hurt all year long, and these last 2 weeks are pointless. Let's play them all!"

I didn’t agree with a lot of how they handled injuries but on the same hand, to about to go on a third playoff run in 4 years with 21/22 starters is pretty insane.

What’s the Cliffs Notes rooting guide this week?

Theres actually not a whole helluva lot to root for.

Niners host the Bears on Sunday night. By that time the Eagles will have finished their game. If the Eagles lose, the only thing to worry about is falling into the 4th seed which would require us to lose out and the Panthers to win out.

So maybe you want to root for the Seahawks to beat the Panthers which would lock us into no less than 3.

If the Eagles win tomorrow, our only path to the 2 seed is the Bears losing out. So you could root for the Niners to beat them on Sunday night if you can stand that sort of thing.

IMO it may be best to win and have the Bears and Seahawks also win. Lock into the #3, rest starters, and probably get ready to host SF.

I regret getting it.

And root for Baltimore tonight.

Barnett always was a good rotational DE. Was disappointing for where he was drafted and had some injury issues towards the end of his Eagles career but got run out of town unnecessarily.

Unnecessarily? He was a walking penalty machine.

Someone is going to be paying Malik Willis in free agency. I don’t know if he gets a starting job, but he’ll have quite a few options to go compete somewhere.

Actually this game is turning out pretty decent.

Besides the obvious Eagles win.

Panthers over Seahawks

49ers over Bears

Falcons over Rams

Does a Packers loss do anything at this point? They already clinched. I guess we want the Bears to win the division since Packers have that tie but in the same hand we want Bears to lose out too.

There is next to no chance Steichen is fired. What he did with what he had should get an extension.

Im not sure. I feel like he has stepped in and had a real hot streak before, and then crashed back to earth with tons of turn overs. I expect it to happen again.

Maybe NOLA

Since we want the Bears to lose twice, it would probably help if they clinch the division prior to their game tomorrow. And a Packers loss tonight would do that.

There is also the obscure advantage a Packers loss could give us. That would be a potential tiebreak draft order scenario with the Steelers, if both teams lose in the same week of the playoffs. Strength of schedule comes into play there, so we’d like to have more losses on our schedule. I realize it’s a stretch to even consider this but when you’re looking for reasons, that’s at least something.

Credit to Malik Willis. He looked atrocious with the titans but he’s been good as a backup when the packers have needed him

The ravens mastering how to blow double digit leads every week. Harbaugh is living off Lamar Jackson and the 2012 Super Bowl. Because other than that, they do the same stupid things every week that cost them games.

Now that I think about it, that tiebreak with the Steelers scenario is probably silly because it would preclude the possibility of the Packers having a better record than us and thus picking after us. So maybe I’m just talking out of my ass.

But I do stand by my Bears winning the division argument.
