Sources: Poison pill blocks Parsons trade to Philly

The trade that sent Micah Parsons from Dallas to Green Bay has a "poison pill" condition that, according prevents the two-time All-Pro from playing for the Eagles in the immediate future, sources told

Is this not collusion?

His Superbowl year was an all time performance, from week one to Superbowl imo. Like 6000 yards passing and 50 tds.

12 years in DET taking 40+ sacks a game 4 to 5 years, I honestly didn’t think he would still be playing at this level. The trade between DET-LAR is one of the few I can think of where it worked as well as it has for both players. He’s in his 17th season, tough to do, and not likely if he had played in the 80s and 90s or earlier.

LOL, yeah Herbert and Stafford in LA they are soooo underrated.

Its not like the media loves LA and worships those guys.

Hurts wins a SB MVP and national people say he's a winner but he's never going to be a passer like Stafford.

They have to mention Stafford during the other player's glory. They are a Stafford cult.

Underrated?

Stafford was below mediocre from 2022-24. Everyone pretended he was great. That is overrated, not underrated.

Look at the record, look at the stats.

Stafford put up personal stats in 2011 and lost 2 or 3 more games than he should have. Everyone spit at his team and organization and said he was so awesome for 41 TDs.

Stafford has never been and never will be underrated.

You want underrated? Try Flacco.

Stafford had a SB run with 9 TDs and 3 picks. He was good not great in the SB and the NFCCG. Lots of guys were better when they won.

Stafford has 15 TDs to 3 picks from 2021-present in the playoffs. That's really good.

Flacco had a SB run with 11 TDs to 0 picks. He was very good to awesome in all 4 games during that run. Playoff Flacco was better than Stafford.

Flacco from 2010 to 2014 had 24 TDs to 4 picks in the playoffs. He won a SB and should have gone to a 2nd on merit. His WR had the game winner punched out of his hands after he caught it.

Then the kicker shanked a chip shot.

Flacco played 7 of those 10 games on the road. Most vs top defenses in Pittsburgh and New England.

Flacco is a joke to the national media. Oh, they like the old guy stats some this year but they don;t consider him good, let alone very good.

It was awesome earlier this year when Flacco had a career game. You’re right though, he’s always been viewed as a game manager.

They referenced a few trades in the article where it’s fairly common

Common or not, it shouldn't be legal IMO.

50 TDs 20 picks

Hurts was 42 and 6 in 2 less games

See, Hurts was better but you have been told to worship Stafford.

Stafford put up 20 and 23 points in the NFCCG and SB. he won the SB because Burrow did not get that half a second to launch it to Chase because Donald and Miller were awesome.

Hurts had 7 TDs in his final 2 games with 1 pick. Stafford had 5 TDs and 3 picks.

Well, in your defense you did need something to cheer for! 😛

Very true.

Just saying Stafford since the eagles game has put up 20 tds and 0 ints. He’s also had 4+ TD passes in each of his last 3 games.

Is that really worth challenging up 41-17 vs a 💩 defense

I tried London Pride when I was there, I liked it.

Not sure what the point is in nay saying Stafford. He can be beat but he's a damn good QB and we will likely face him in January. Fine, bring him on.

The Packers also put the same on Green. Similar to players having no trade clauses, trading conditional picks.

Nobody is worshipping anyone (why do you do that hahahaha), and he won the Superbowl. Deep breaths, Slappy.

Tbh i think the rams and eagles are on a collision course to face each other in the nfc title game. I’d say Seahawks but think the rams are better.

Yeah, feels like one of the other. Let's see how we do over the next two weeks after which we can discuss seriously assuming things go well.

I don’t like Kittle but he’s a great player.

I’m curious how that rams/seahawks game looks next week. It’s in LA. Seahawks have played better on the road then home this year.

Hopefully we don’t see a sea of blue next week

Steve Young 1994 was 51 and 10

Kurt Warner 1999 was 50 to 17

Brady had more yards passing, more yards per game, and more passing TDs than Stafford in the 2021 regular season.

Adding his 2 playoff games he was about 6000 48 and 14. Stafford was not even the best passer of 2021. Todd Bowles called a stupid zero blitz so Stafford won and Brady lost.

Rodgers won the MVP and you can argue his efficiency vs Brady's raw stats but Stafford was QB3 in the 2021 regular season.

Stafford was no Saquon 2024.

Amazing two games from the afternoon slate might end 44-22

He is probably the MVP favorite right now. He's having a great year.

@mattwill 23-20 Birds. Goedert racks up another TD.
