EMB Blog: 2025 Regular Season (Part 2) ... and Playoffs

The only teams in the NFL with fewer passing yards than the Eagles have either shuffled multiple QB's or are the Tennessee Titans with a rookie QB.

I give credit to Kellen Moore. Didn’t see the saints remotely winning 6 games. They potentially have a chance shot at 7 if they beat Atlanta next week. That’s way more wins than i saw. Heck of a coaching job

Best thing Moore did was let Tyler Shough watch the first 8 games. It was a given that Spencer Rattler was going to be a low-end NFL starting QB, but he had the patience not to throw Shough out there Week 1 to get beaten up. I liked Shough all the way back to Oregon. He has all the tools; it was just a struggle to stay healthy. His play has allowed the Saints (if they’re smart) to build their roster through the draft before needing to draft another QB.

We saw again today why Dart and Shough were much better prospects than Sanders. Shedeur put up 13 points with 2 INT, but …… yay?? Browns are going to keep being the Browns

1-7 record be like:

Tbh I am more worried about somebody getting hurt than if their performance is going to be better for the WC by playing next week. At this point, I think they are what they are. If they go on a run and they start scoring ball, then good on them. But nothing has shown me all season that the offense will start being consistent with rest or not. Sadly i think the offense is what it is this year. Just gotta hope we can squeeze out enough points. Imo if we get to 24 points each game i think we probably can win the Super Bowl with how good the defense can be

100% agree. Our key to the playoffs is sed ghe D. Get turnovers, give the O short fields and hope Elliott is in his playoff form. 24 points will be a luxury :)

Yeah….one and done🤣

As a guy who played minor league hockey and got into fights outside and through locker room doors — that’s not a fight. That was a fairly calm discussion.

BTW last years QB draft class of Williams, Maye and Nix have a combined record of 37 and 11. That is crazy. Who thought Daniels would be the odd man out after last year.

Anyone who's read my feelings on Daniels knows that would be me.

Mcnabb from the top rope!

He don’t need rest. He needs to sit the bench. This dude blows. Birds need to draft a center and move him back to guard

Jurgens was pretty damn good last year. Need to see how he looks next year after an offseason of strength training and not rehabbing. If it’s like this, then that’s trouble. But there’s a reasonable chance he’s a new player.

Unlike Dickerson, he doesn’t look like he’s in pain out there.

Turns out it was true. There was a game today.

I'm so pissed off at Nick, KP, and Jake for missing kicks. Those three idiots cost them the best chance of going back to the SB.

Have to root for Seattle next week. They are the weakest possible 1 and will end up losing to someone in their division round 2 IMO.

We are going to have to travel to Chicago because they aren't losing to the Lions at home

Worst case scenario is going to happen now....we don't rest the starters and don't get the #2

Honestly, though, this team has the defense to win again, but they aren't able to adjust, and the coaching is going to waste a year of the window because of their ineptitude.

Both those clips seem like click bait, tbh.

I don’t even think what Carter did is even a penalty let alone what the tweet is alleging. He briefly had his hand in his face - finger was outside of the facemask for the most part.

The fight clip was more players slowing down and arguing a bit - that’s about it imo

Unless the Rams get a shutout tomorrow the Eagles will be 3rd in the NFL in points allowed, behind only HOU and SEA

Are there stats on how many times the Birds snap the ball with 1 second left on the play clock?

The Rams have given up 30+ in their last 3 non-Gannon games and 17 to Gannon. Don't hold your breath for the shutout.

There was a graph in here weeks ago about with 3 seconds left and the Eagles were by far the worst.

Its never been a thing with Hurts before. Its 100% Patullo.

I wouldn't necessarily mind snapping the ball with one second left every play if they were already set and ready to go. But it seems like every single play the clock gets down to three seconds and none of the players are even remotely ready. It's like there is a mad two second scramble to get everything in place.

Wasted by a crap offense. Patullo can get bent, anyone in here would be a better playcaller

Seriously, how effective could be three counterintuitive set plays from a pre snap look of disjointedness (like they DO look now)?

They would get positive yards every time.

Basically, they should design an entire offense NOW of doing the exact opposite that you did all season from each look. You just do the opposite of what you did before, now that it really counts. Like Rocky switching to Southpaw late in the fight.
